Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Mary At Colonial Townpark

Jennifer, the Assistant General Manager, was absolutely fabulous helping us sort out the challenges from the Hotels.com booking we had made. After hours of dealing with incompetency with the Hotels.com personnel, Jennifer remained calm and patient the entire time. I had not realized how difficult 3rd party vendors are to work with and will make all future reservations direct with the hotel itself. 3rd party vendors such as Expedia, Priceline, Hotels.com are very difficult to work with after a booking date needs to be modified. And, in the big picture can cost more with the time you need to resolve any issues. (2 hours for us!)
You can tell that there is excellent leadership at this hotel as all employees were extremely helpful and accommodating. Thank you Jennifer for making our stay exceptional!

Staff was very nice and friendly. The location was wonderful- hidden town center, the beautiful location and easy access to I4.

Check in was fast - my top floor room request was granted.
Room was clean - hallways quiet
Breakfast was good with ample seating.

The room was well put together clean nice amazing

up front handicapped parking that they charged me for......Staff was short staffed, but those I ran into were very nice..

We stayed one night prior to flying out of Sanford airport. The hotel is only about 10 minutes from the airport, yet it is in a quiet area.

The rooms were clean and we didnt hear anyone even though a baseball team of youngsters were also staying at the hotel. The free breakfast was the normal powdered eggs and chicken sausage, but they did have a waffle maker and toaster for bagels and muffins. The coffee was very welcome and hot. Just what we needed.

The staff was professional, not overly friendly, but we had no trouble arranging an early check in at 11:30 for an extra $35.

Absolutely a terrible experience. They overcharged me for a room. As a diamond member, I got nothing for being a diamond except for being overcharged for a room that I didn’t want. I would suggest if you want to be taking advantage of stay at this hotel.

The location

Location was perfect for us visiting family locally. Close to a good variety of bars and restaurants. Hotel was spotless, smelling fresh all the time. Breakfast selection was good. Free coffee available in reception was very welcome.

We arrived an hour late due a flight delay so it was after 11PM. The front desk clerk was so friendly & helpful & knew that I had requested a room within close proximity of where we’d park because my husband has difficulty walking. She & her attentiveness were appreciated!
