Location
Too much construction going on. Stuff everywhere. People were super loud and no one did anything about it.
The staff was very nice.
The mattress for sleeping was terrible !
The mattress was lumpy and soft and saggy to the point that we had considered leaving, but had been on the road all day. Lighting in the room and areas for sitting in the room were not good.
We will not be returning to this property next vacation
They are in the midst of renovation, but the room left much to be desired.
Completely terrible. Service was terrible, mold on the ceiling in the pool room and in the hallways. Key cards on all the doors dont work almost had to break the door to get into the room because the only person we could find was a manager who was no help. The bathtub wouldn’t drain because of the amount of hair I had to clean out of the drain pipe. On top of all of this which mind you all happened within an hour of being here they are refusing any type of a refund.
After driving for hours we just wanted to shower and get some rest and a dirty room was what we got. Apon getting into our room I had to do an inspection like I do at every hotel. In the bathroom there was long black hair on the shower wall, on the side of the tub, and on the floor of the tub. There was also the same long hair on the bathroom floor. The soap caddy in the shower hadn't been cleaned, the faucet wasn't connected properly to the shower wall, and the bathroom sink didnt drain. Id like to also add the couch was dirty and also had several white spots on the front of the couch. The base of the bed also had white spots stained on it. The hotel was under renovations but thats not an excuse of why the room was dirty. Upon check out my husband brought this to the hotel manager and was told he would have to go talk to the gm manager. We loaded up our truck and my husband went back in after we finished to see what he was able to do for us. My husband was told they could only take off $22.05 and told him we got the price down to a Motel 6 price for you. What a joke!! Motel 6 probably would have had a cleaner room!!!! We will NEVER EVER stay at another Holiday Inn again!!! Wanted to warn others not to waste your hard earned money!!!!!!
Very friendly staff and clean rooms! Always stay here when we are in the area!
Very clean and friendly staff
The pool was cold and the breakfast wasn't that good.
The room i had was great. The staff was super cool, the front desk guy named tallon did a great job making sure the kids and I was taken care of and comfortable.
The only thing which wasnt a big deal but the ac/heat unit didnt work in the 2nd bdrm. Of the king suite.
There was a big glop of clear sticky something on bedside shelf, ? KY jelly?
No Kleenex in empty shell. On the plus side, room was very quiet, quiet ac unit.
Staff and location
Bed too high. Got to breakfast before ending time, no rolls and gravy barely warm and runny
Went here during a trip…for starters, there was bedbugs and supposedly they have never heard of this issue😅second of all, when checking for bedbugs, this was under the mattress?? Disgusting!!! Extremely embarrassing with my family
I booked an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Express in London, Kentucky for December 23rd. It didn't last long. I connected my phone to the hotel's wifi but was unable to access the Internet. I tried using the streaming apps on their television. Same problem, no Internet.
I called the front desk and asked what the problem could be. The hotel manager provided me with a completely nonsensical explanation. I'm paraphrasing, but he essentially said, "You have wifi and therefore the Internet has been disabled". I tried to make sense of what he was saying but he continued to just repeat the same thing pretty much verbatim. As best as I could determine, he seemed to think that wifi is somehow a substitute for the Internet. Of course, it doesn't work that way. One thing was clear, he did not consider lack of access to the Internet in my room to be a problem. Not at all. He didn't seem to even comprehend that there was a problem. If there was an issue with their ISP, he never mentioned it.
At no time up until that point did I express any anger. He eventually became disturbingly hostile and short with me. He said, I've told you the same thing three times, how many times do I have to say it?
Then I got angry. I went down stairs to continue what had become an argument. He immediately told me to pack my things and get out. I asked at one point if we could start over. He would have none of that. He again told me to pack up and leave. I did.
I've stayed at many hotels and I have never experienced anything remotely resembling my encounter with him. I've never even experienced what you might consider commonplace rudeness from any hotel staff member. This, on the other hand, was bizarre, freakish, and disturbing.
I will never set foot in an IHG hotel again.
