We arrived with a large business group and several complicated reservation and booking issues, yet they welcomed everyone with friendly smiles and a genuine desire to help.
Despite how busy the hotel was, they took the time to listen, understand our concerns, and work through every issue without hesitation. Their professionalism, patience, and positive attitude made what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless. It is rare to find this level of true customer service at a large hotel, and their commitment to guest satisfaction was refreshing.

I had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return.
From the moment I arrived, the service stood out. I pulled up in an Uber from the airport, and the valet team was already there to greet me, open the door, and assist with my luggage. It was a small touch that immediately made me feel welcome.
I arrived a little before check-in, but the front desk staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed happy to help. My room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after a long day of travel.
I was in town for business meetings, and the hotel did an excellent job supporting our group. The meeting space was well maintained, and the team handling food and beverage service kept everything running smoothly. They were attentive without being intrusive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the day.
By my last evening, I was exhausted and decided to stay in and order room service. It arrived quickly, and the short ribs were outstanding, easily one of the best meals I had during my trip.
When it was time to leave, the exceptional service continued. The valet team once again assisted with my luggage and opened doors without me ever having to ask.
It's rare to find a hotel where every interaction feels effortless, but this property delivered from start to finish. Great service, comfortable accommodations, excellent food, and a team that clearly cares about the guest experience. I would definitely stay here again.
What a great experience staying at the Houston Westin. Great friendly staff and comfortable clean rooms. A Westin team member opened the front door for me and spoke each time I entered and exited the hotel.
Senhet, Our server on our first night was amazing. We had a guest who had a food allergy. Senhet was thoughtful relayed back to the kitchen and made sure that we were taken care of. The Philly Cheese steak was amazing though unique (no messy hands as it was cooked on flattened bread. So 5 stars the the chefs as well. Stay so far has been impeccable with a welcoming front desk. Planning to return!

We had a great experience at the Hotel Bar. The Bartender who goes by the name Cash is a great ambassador for your property. Cash was very well versed with the entire menu, giving us some great ideas for dinner. It’s obvious that she loves her job based on all of her interactions with us and others.
Noise of construction
I highly recommend staying at The Westin Houston Downtown hotel. The staff is kind and helpful. The rooms are immaculate. The beds are comfortable. The showers are really nice and big, with a built-in seat. There is an option to eat at their Ballpark Cafe conveniently located on the main floor. The food was very good. I love the security of using your room card to be able to use the elevator to get to the floor of your room. I was unexpectedly upgraded to a room with a view of beautiful Daikin Park! The view out my window was awesome! I definitely want to stay here again!

I’m a Marriott Titanium member and I most confess that I had a fantastic experience at The Westin Houston Downtown, especially when it comes to the quality of the food. The hotel’s “Eat Well Menu” is absolutely worth trying — healthy, flavorful, and surprisingly sophisticated.
For breakfast, the avocado toast with poached eggs was outstanding. My recommendation: add a little olive oil on top — it takes the dish to another level. For dinner, the salmon was exceptional: perfectly cooked, fresh, and beautifully presented.
Honestly, the food quality was as good as some of the top restaurants in the Houston area, but at nearly half the price. It’s rare to find hotel dining that delivers this level of consistency and taste.
The staff was also excellent throughout the stay. Special mention to Filimon for the outstanding service, professionalism, and hospitality. He truly made the experience even better.
Highly recommended if you are staying in downtown Houston.
I always thoroughly enjoy staying at the Westin downtown in Houston. Even though I live in Houston, there are times I have to commute a long way and I choose to stay at the Westin overnight to make the commute easier. I’ve also stayed there just for an in town staycation. The hotel is clean and beautiful, food is great, the bar is lovely and a great place to hang out. And I love the rooms! Lately I’ve been getting the larger Parlour room - love the comfort of it! The only thing that would make this hotel a tiny bit better was if there was an onsite spa.
Also I have to give a special shoutout to Melissa who works at the front reservation desk. She’s the sweetest, always remembers me, and always provides excellent, very welcoming customer service!
Love the hotel and when I’m downtown, this is my spot!
