The Westin Houston Downtown

Great service, good breakfast

My stay was very enjoyable. The amenities were very nice. I used the gym twice and was very satisfied. Restaurant great!

I have stayed at the Westin in Downtown Houston on an almost-weekly basis for over two years, and there is a reason why I do. The staff is impeccable and reminds me why I am a Marriott loyalist - their care, friendliness, and humor set them apart from the range of other hotels (both Marriott and not) that I've stayed at in Houston over the years. Moreover, the bedrooms are great - always spotlessly clean and offering the ideal asset for a business traveler: ample overhead lighting. There is no place I'd rather stay in Houston and I'm so thankful for the team there for making each stay special.

We were down there for a national Cheer association weekend event. We were in the lobby area at the downtown Westin location in Houston. We had 12 adults and 16 children and we were going to be there for a couple of hours waiting for the awards ceremony. Our server was a woman named Cash and she was relatively new to the Westin. To say she was absolutely amazing would be an understatement. She was so kind, and her attention to detail was phenomenal. She took care of this large group with a smile and cheerfulness that I will not forget. Such a phenomenal experience from all of us and we wanted to recognize that she was one of the best servers we’ve ever had anywhere.

Rooms were beautiful. Staff was very helpful and kind!

William was so helpful. I showed up before check in for a conference and was able to get a room to get ready and be on time.

The Westin Hotel was GREAT! Rooms are nice, all staff members were friendly and extremely helpful. The location for downtown activities is excellent. Many good restaurants nearby.

Awesome hotel, easy walk to convention center and Toyota center. Rooms are brand new and very nice but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond to offer help and local recommendations. From the front desk staff to the bartenders/lobby waiters, everyone was great. The food served in the lobby was excellent, way more elevated than your typical hotel bar food. Would definitely recommend if staying downtown.

We had such a great experience at the The Westin Houston Downtown. Everything flowed super smoothly from the moment we arrived. Melissa took amazing care of us very attentive and with such a positive vibe. She guided us with everything about the concert without making us feel lost and even took the time to recommend what to eat. We tried the tacos from the new menu and they were top-tier. Honestly, it was a little getaway that was totally worth it. No complaints at all everything was great.

I contacted the hotel receptionist, who informed me that my reservation had been cancelled due to my failure to check in within the designated timeframe. I requested the possibility of booking the remainder of my stayed, but was advised the hotel was fully booked. Upon being transferred to reservations, I received conflicting information; the representative stated that two rooms were available. When I called back and spoke with the manager on duty, Alex, she stated there were no rooms available and was unable to assist further. Overall, I found the service to be neither accommodating nor particular welcoming.

The hotel, the staff and the food were exceptional. Customized service was always readily available and above the normal. I look forward to my next visit to Westin Houston Downtown.

We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. We were kindly greeted and taken care of by front desk, William. He was really attentive in helping us out. Carlos from Valet parking was very kind as well!! This is a great, clean location. We had a comfortable & welcoming experience.

Westin Houston Downtown was an exceptional stay. The room was clean, spacious, and modern, but what truly made this experience amazing was all the staff. Valet were super kind and helpful and the front desk team was amazing. Specifically, Shanti at the front made this truly remarkable. She was highly attentive and kind; more importantly, she brought us a birthday cake desert when we dined at the hotel restaurant that made the celebration feel incredibly special. We had only briefly mentioned that we were in town for a birthday, yet she not only remembered but went out of her way to acknowledge it in such a meaningful way. Overall, this has been one of the best stays at a Westin property and would definatly recommend to anyone traveling to Houston.

This was a magnificent Valentine’s Day weekend at the Westin! From check-in with Camryn to the food/bar, and high quality room ambiance & decor, which I absolutely loved! The weekend was relaxing & every staff member was professional, kind and helpful. We will definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay at The Westin hotel in Houston Downtown! The hotel was impeccably clean, and the rooms were beautifully designed, comfortable, and inviting. The beds were incredibly cozy, and we enjoyed a wonderful night’s sleep.

What truly made our stay special was the staff. Every team member we encountered was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. They greeted us with warm smiles, were attentive to our needs, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and valued throughout our visit. Their exceptional service made the experience even more memorable.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the downtown location was perfect and convenient.

A true five-star experience — we would gladly stay here again!
