The Westin Houston Downtown

Awesome hotel, easy walk to convention center and Toyota center. Rooms are brand new and very nice but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond to offer help and local recommendations. From the front desk staff to the bartenders/lobby waiters, everyone was great. The food served in the lobby was excellent, way more elevated than your typical hotel bar food. Would definitely recommend if staying downtown.

We had such a great experience at the The Westin Houston Downtown. Everything flowed super smoothly from the moment we arrived. Melissa took amazing care of us very attentive and with such a positive vibe. She guided us with everything about the concert without making us feel lost and even took the time to recommend what to eat. We tried the tacos from the new menu and they were top-tier. Honestly, it was a little getaway that was totally worth it. No complaints at all everything was great.

I contacted the hotel receptionist, who informed me that my reservation had been cancelled due to my failure to check in within the designated timeframe. I requested the possibility of booking the remainder of my stayed, but was advised the hotel was fully booked. Upon being transferred to reservations, I received conflicting information; the representative stated that two rooms were available. When I called back and spoke with the manager on duty, Alex, she stated there were no rooms available and was unable to assist further. Overall, I found the service to be neither accommodating nor particular welcoming.

The hotel, the staff and the food were exceptional. Customized service was always readily available and above the normal. I look forward to my next visit to Westin Houston Downtown.

We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. We were kindly greeted and taken care of by front desk, William. He was really attentive in helping us out. Carlos from Valet parking was very kind as well!! This is a great, clean location. We had a comfortable & welcoming experience.

Westin Houston Downtown was an exceptional stay. The room was clean, spacious, and modern, but what truly made this experience amazing was all the staff. Valet were super kind and helpful and the front desk team was amazing. Specifically, Shanti at the front made this truly remarkable. She was highly attentive and kind; more importantly, she brought us a birthday cake desert when we dined at the hotel restaurant that made the celebration feel incredibly special. We had only briefly mentioned that we were in town for a birthday, yet she not only remembered but went out of her way to acknowledge it in such a meaningful way. Overall, this has been one of the best stays at a Westin property and would definatly recommend to anyone traveling to Houston.

This was a magnificent Valentine’s Day weekend at the Westin! From check-in with Camryn to the food/bar, and high quality room ambiance & decor, which I absolutely loved! The weekend was relaxing & every staff member was professional, kind and helpful. We will definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay at The Westin hotel in Houston Downtown! The hotel was impeccably clean, and the rooms were beautifully designed, comfortable, and inviting. The beds were incredibly cozy, and we enjoyed a wonderful night’s sleep.

What truly made our stay special was the staff. Every team member we encountered was welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. They greeted us with warm smiles, were attentive to our needs, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and valued throughout our visit. Their exceptional service made the experience even more memorable.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the downtown location was perfect and convenient.

I had a great stay overall the front desk team was amazing such sweet girls. Melissa helped me with the government rate I hadn’t read the rate details but she took the time to explain everything and helped me find something that worked which I really appreciated ..The restaurant was chef’s kiss I tried the ribeye tacos she recommended and they were hands down so good. The rooms were beautiful very clean spacious and open My only feedback would be about the service while dining the person who helped me (she had a radio on her chest) took my order and then sat down and didn’t check on me till I asked for the tab, the blonde bartender made good drinks! At the coffee shop I think her name was Samira and she was very kind Valet did a great job as well Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely come back

I will like to start by saying the atmosphere here is beyond amazing if I could live here I would. There was a lady at front desk by the name of Camryn that was very polite and professional. I appreciate how detailed she was explaining the ins and out of the hotel and what to do around Downtown Houston. Honestly the whole staff did an amazing job I just want to say thank you all and I will be back soon.

All of the staff were so nice and accommodating. From the valets to the front desk, the restaurant servers and the little shop inside the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and well kept. We will definitely stay there again.

Great experience. Gorgeous room, professional staff, good equipment in fitness room. Also, parking valet was an easy experience.

Although this hotel advertises government-rate rooms, they choose to serve only the highest-tier federal employees—not contractors—even though we follow the same travel rules. I was denied check-in just as severe weather was approaching. Fortunately, I found a nearby hotel that also honors the government rate (without an arbitrary policy about whom they will serve). I can’t imagine what would have happened if my flight had been delayed and this had occurred late at night. Don’t risk it.

Beautiful rooms paired with exceptional hospitality. Chloe at the bar was fantastic and incredibly attentive. Highly recommend!
