The hotel staff were second to none and exceptional. They made our holiday with their friendliness, attention to detail care and consideration, they never said No to anything
Nothing!!!
Fantastic location with room views overlooking the sea. White sandy beach and plenty of sunbeds.
Staff are very friendly, attentive and food is excellent.
We went on b&b basis but didn't eat until early evening after a big breakfast.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant overlooking the sea.
Just a few minutes walk from the boardwalk with plenty of bars/restaurants to choose from.
The reggae bus stops right outside for your journey to the gap or Oistin.
We had a great stay at C Court, with no real negatives, only our room needs an update, it's great location with good access to public transport and staff very helpful.
Beautiful setting
Friendly staff
Very comfortable, nothing too much trouble. Knowledgeable and helpful. Great food and drinks. Nothing to dislike.
Coconut Court hotel gives you that warming satisfaction that you should get with all holidays, but very rarely get. The vibe is beautifully relaxed with a great feel good factor. It does what it says on the tin.
We have had a fantastic time at Coconut Court and will definitely be returning. The room is large with huge bed, amazing views of the beach - we were room 90 on top floor. There is a fridge, kettle, toaster & microwave in the rooms.
The food has been lovely - we were room only option but had breakfast a couple of times & a couple of meals and snacks.
Location is perfect, we walked along boardwalk most mornings and evenings and also to Pebbles beach, Carlisle Bay & Boatyard. It was fairly quiet and low key on an evening but had singers on but we went out most nights - highly recommend
Really comfortable beds, spacious rooms and the views from the balcony are amazing. Fantastic to be right on the beach and the option of a pool too. Food is delicious and the entertainment in the evenings is good too!
This is a lovely hotel, my main criticism is that, when we booked, our travel agent requested a ground floor room as I have back problems. My husband then followed this up with an email but we were allocated a first floor room with 2 flights of stairs. We would gladly have paid more for a ground floor but felt that the desk staff had a somewhat take it or leave it attitude on our arrival, we then found we had several flights to get down to the restaurant and the beach, every day was a work out for my back!. Our view was over the roof of the reception so couldn’t really see the sea however, it was large, very clean and the bed was huge and extremely comfortable. We appreciated the fluffy towels and the large blue beach ones. Had a slight problem over replenishment but that was sorted out quickly. We were bed and breakfast so could only choose one item from the menu which we felt was a bit odd, however we soon found out what we liked and stuck with that. The staff were kept very busy and probably a bit short staffed as, on several days, some of the management team helped out. However they were hardworking and cheerful and remembered what we liked
We used Jake’s several times over the 2 weeks and it’s quite reasonably priced. We also used the Z buses which was quite an experience but the guys were really kind and helped me off (harder than getting on!). We also ate at Buzo, Tapas, and Champers plus Oistins on a Thursday!
The beach was good and my husband enjoyed snorkelling and he also went on a short trip to Carlyle Bay with Ted’s son Lee where he saw turtles. Ted’s tour was a definite highlight and we thoroughly recommend it if you visit here, he’s very entertaining!
We loved Barbados and wish we’d visited earlier when we were a bit younger and would definitely come back if funds allow.
Excellently situated hotel. Away from the noise of St.Lawrence's Gap but close enough to access if needed. There are plenty of restaurants an easy walk away and Bridgetown is a short ZR trip away. The hotel's restaurant and bar are a great alternative if you don't want to go out.
The hotel has access to a gorgeous beach with a safe area to swim. Staff are consistently helpful and friendly. We loved it and would recommend without reservation,
Just absolutely stunning. Loved everything about it.
Staff were all so lovely, food was incredible, atmosphere was so relaxing. We felt very safe.
Sea was clear and take a mask/snorkel with you (and we took a GoPro) as they have a wee reef with loads of fish.
We will absolutely be back!
The location of the hotel was perfect. With Jakes bar over the road + a couple of restaurants, a small supermarket, even a hardware shop. Although the hotel is on a busy road, it could get a bit loud at times. But it didn't really bother us, as we weren't in our room that much. Our room was very spacious, clean and the kitchenette was very useful. The balcony and the view was amazing 👏 to wake up every morning looking over the swimming pool, beach, palm trees and the sea. What can I say. 👌 The whole complex was just right for a relaxing holiday. Although it's classed as a three* I wouldn't want to go any where else.
We booked this hotel for a family holiday after reading all the fabulous reviews. The reviews were correct it’s such a lovely place to stay. Immaculate rooms, a lovely restaurant with great food, excellent beach bar for snacks and drinks all done with a smile from the hardworking staff.
We also really enjoyed the entertainment from live singers, karaoke, mixology class, movies on the beach and my personal favourite the sax player at the managers cocktail party.
This hotel is privately owned and the owners are discreet but make it their business to chat and learn a little about their guests, a rarity in today’s corporate world.
We also enjoyed how easy it is to get around the island from Hastings where the hotel is situated. A Bus stop across the road and ZR’s every few minutes.
We’re home now after a fabulous time and will most definitely book coconut court next time we visit barbados.
When you stay in a hotel for the first time, you always hope that it's value for money and the Coconut Court did not disappoint. I loved this hotel. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the reception and concierge team. There aren't any lifts but someone (usually Junior) is on hand to help you with the luggage. My room was wonderful. Beachfront with a little patio area and easy access to the pool, beach and restaurant.
The Government buses and ZR mini vans stop right outside the hotel (costs $BDS 3.50) and the trip to the capital is about 15 mins away.
Back to the hotel itself; food is lovely, well stocked bar and there's always some sort of entertainment in the evening. There's a shop on site to get souvenirs, drinks and other bits and pieces.
Staff are friendly, and polite and there is a security team in place also. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel and in a fantastic location.
Just had 10 days at this hotel and I honestly cannot fault it. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the hotel is kept impeccably clean.
We had a superior ocean front room which was spacious, modern, comfy, good ceiling fan and Aircon and a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea.
Pool area is nice with plenty of sunbeds. No one is trying to reserve them which is great. Pool looks out over sea.
Food and drinks are good both in main restaurant and Charlie's beach bar.
I will make the comment that Jake's which is across the road and technically part of the hotel I have not included in this review. We ate and drank twice there and was disappointed. Food was ok but cold both times and service poor.
None of this takes away from an amazing holiday and hotel. Thanks to all the staff who worked so hard to make our stay pleasurable.
We were delighted with our ten day stay and the professionalism and consideration of the staff. It is an ideal place to stay on the island and excellent value for money. While crime is not a problem there was discrete security which was reassuring. The food was excellent. Great ribs. It was the kind of hotel that you could stay without having to go out if you wanted, but of course Barbados has many things to recommend. We would advise people to visit the wonderful Museum, Andromeda Gardens, Welchman Hall Gully and Walkers Reserve - all are fortunately off the cruise ship tours.
Location and beach.
Rooms were lovely.
Sea view was good.
Most staff were lovely and went over and above to help
Exterior decor
Accessibility was poor for those with mobility problems
Not all staff could work Bar TV
Very rude deputy manager
Service at food tables was slow esp when we had a large group. Sadly food at Charlie’s in the evening was very average which was disappointing
Nicer inside than outside.
Some staff wonderful. Lovely beach front location. Not good for those with mobility
