Excellent choice!
Pros:

Me and my husband have been staying in this hotel several times. We like it because it is on Marine drive (so you can take a walk with a good view), in historical part of town ( not far from India gate, for example, if you like to walk).
The hotel is clean, quiet, good breakfast. It is good value for the money.
The personnel is superb: polite, friendly and very helpful! Thanks them a lot for making our stays comfortable.
Last time they helped us a lot (my husband nedded a medical help, they swiftly organized visiting doctor, get me to the farmacy and offered every help I nedded). Fortunately, the situation was not serious, he got better fast, but I really appreciate the attitude!
Next time in Mumbai we'll stay again in Intercontinental.

Excellent Service, Clean Beautiful Room and Unparalleled Views
Pros:

I had booked this stay for my parents to celebrate their anniversary. They loved the location of the hotel, mentioned that the room was quite large compared to other comparable hotels in the vicinity. The staff was absolutely lovely and sent up a cake to celebrate their anniversary, which was a really sweet gesture on their part. The service definitely exceeded all expectations and the room had a beautiful view of the iconic Marine Drive and the food at the restaurant was quite delicious as well. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious with all required amenities readily available.

Cons:

It is a bit steep on your pocket but since it was their anniversary we were okay splurging. The area can get crowded because of the significance of the location but it just meant that it was lively throughout the day.

A 5 star property - just as cosy as your home with a staff just as warm as your family!
Pros:

All the staff - at the door, the reception were exceptionally warm and helpful. They made the extra effort to have a casual chat with me and made me feel comfortable. The rooms were impeccably clean. I ordered room service which was very quick too. And they were also extremely kind to give me a room upgrade - a sea view suit!! I love the location too - bang opposite to the marine drive - my favourite place in Mumbai!! I can write so much more - but will save my notes for the next review - as I soon will be visiting again!

Not a good experience
Pros:

The room size was fantastic

Cons:

The staff was Political, rude a d kept contacting me to get extra guests out. It's understood that it's the hostel policy not to have extra guests beyond a time but my guests visited the dome also and returned to the room to use the washroom and have a snack
The in- house staff was rude and spoke to me in a very uncouth manner

Wonderful stay, the staff could not do enough for us. Fahad looked after us from the minute we arrived.
Pros:

This is an excellent hotel. Superb standard. 5stars
They even organised a half day driving tour around the sights of Mumbai

Our Stay with Intercontinental was excellent. The location is amazing and so is the staff. Staff at the reception was very polite and friendly. Chinmay from reception was very efficient and supportive. Room has excellent view of ocean and it was blissful environment. Staff at the Breakfast room was very warm. And welcoming. Every one of them, Sahil, अशांत, संगम, Imelda,Alan , Chef Alicia, Sunil, Atul, each of them was friendly and welcoming. Stay was fantastic.

The scenario is perfect. The area around the building was peaceful.

The way of treating guest was totally unacceptable. Thats not a actual 5 star hotel. The worst hotel i have even been to. Their way of treating guest was not good. The rudeness was unacceptable.. i will not suggest this hotel to stay .

Sehr gute Adresse für den Aufenthalt in Mumbai
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten Mumbais zu erkunden, wir sind zum Gate Of India gelaufen. Abends kann man von der Dachterrasse den Sonnenuntergang genießen und gute Cocktails trinken, einen kleinen Spaziergang am Marine Drive unternehmen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig (wir wurden auf eine Junior Suite geupgraded), mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet.

Cons:

Etwas moderiger Geruch im Zimmer, das war aber nicht weiter schlimm.
