The staff was amazing and so helpful during our stay. Rooms were clean, facility is well kept. We highly recommend staying here.

Super friendly staff

My room had no hot water in the shower. And the room smelled like a sewer. I reported it and they said thank you for letting us know. The problems still existed to the time that I checked out.

My stay started rocky and quickly declined. When I arrived, I stood at the counter for 10 minutes while the receptionist sat in the office on her cell phone. I later found out she was the supervisor, who also had a guest inside of the office after 10 PM. When I checked out they double charged me incidentals and never informed me that the parking had a fee. When I called to find out about the charges, the receptionist was very rude and unprofessional, even cutting me off midsentence. Terrible experience and I will be telling everyone I know not to stay here. Completely unacceptable.

Location and ease of parking although sometimes was hard to find a parking place.

My disappointments with the property were the beds, which were uncomfortable, and the water pressure for the shower was very weak. This property still has tubs, which makes it cumbersome to get into and leads to leaking of the shower onto the bathroom floor. These are the two most important features for me in hotel rooms. I don't believe I will be returning to this property

Nice, comfortable hotel.

Spacious room, neat and comfortable.

The A/C was not functioning correctly and they even gave us another room to try that also had a poor functioning A/C. We decided to muscle through but got a terrible night sleep, which was the main reason we chose the hotel, we needed a location close to our conference for a good night sleep.

Location is great! Plenty of nice safe places nearby to eat and drink!

My only complaint about the room was the musty smell that came from the AC unit, at some point you get used to it, but still it was a bit annoying.

My main gripe is parking. We were told that parking was $15 upon arrival; okay, $15 is no biggie. What the front desk clerk forgot to mention was that it’s $15 per day, so with tax, we payed about $50 for parking for our 3-night stay. Which also wouldn’t have necessarily been a big deal if the parking lot were gated and secure, but there was no gate, anyone could stroll right in and start parking in car windows. We noticed several unhoused folks in the area, many of which seemed to loiter near the parking lot. There wasn’t anywhere for us to park on the street, so we just had the pleasure of paying $50 to park in an unsecured lot because it was our only option. Also several parking spaces were occupied by building materials for the hotel renovation, and there was quite a bit of litter in the parking lot.

Definitely annoyed by the parking situation, next time we’re in Houston we’ll find other accommodations.
