Türkisches essen bitte und keine andere Länder
Pros:

Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das essen schmeckt gut und man nimmt das Anliegen ernst.

Cons:

1.) Uns und auch anderen Touristen die wir gesprochen haben, hat gefehlt dass jeden Tag türkisches essen geben würde mit Gerichte aus verschiedenen Regionen von Türkei statt von anderen Ländern. Die Touristen und wir kamen ins Hotel weil wir dachten, dass es nur türkisches essen gibt, schade. Alle anderen Länder wenn man in die Ferien geht machen auch nicht Küche und essen von anderen Ländern sondern nur essen von ihrem Land. Die Leute die nach Türkei in die Ferien kommen, kommen 1. nur wegen dem türkischen leckeren Essen und all inklusive. Sie können gerne eine Umfrage bei allen Touristen die ihr Hotel verlassen machen und fragen, wäre es ihnen lieber gwesen aus jeder anderer Region von Türkei jeden Tag ein essen zu haben. Bestimmt werden alle ja sagen.
2.) wir hatten einen Unfall im Hotel, es hat sich jeder um uns gekümmert, jedoch war es fix dass wir ins Spital müssen weil mein Mann einen Fersenbruch hatte, jedoch sagte man uns der Arzt sei unterwegs und will sich das trotzdem anschauen obwohl wir ins Spital müssen da wurde uns dann 50 Euro verrechnet obwohl der Besuch nicht atattfinden hätte müssen weil wir si ider si ins Spital geben musdten. Schade, das man obwohl man weiss es ist nichts zu machen und man muss ins Spital gehen das ein Artzt vorbei kommt schnell zu schauen 2 minuten damit man 50 Euro verrechnen kann.

Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay, and it exceeded all our expectations. The staff were polite, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout. The surroundings are wonderfully cozy, with lots of greenery, trees, and the garden is beautifully maintained. The food was excellent. The spaces are tasteful and inviting. The whole atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and calming. We would happily come back!

The place is great for a family vacation
Pros:

All facilities in the hotel were very good - room with very comfortable bed and crispy linen, wide range of food and drinks, good beach and sun lounges, clean sea. Most importantly, the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Overall a very pleasant stay, a lot of really good people working at the hotel, good facilities
Pros:

The hotel is lovely, clean, spacious, location is perfect. Food was very good, a lot of choice. On the beach there is beach service which is very fast, the drink menu caters to every taste and is very fast.

Cons:

In the water there are stones, just near the shore small ones, but knee deep there are large flat stones, very big and they go up in levels. People trip on these, some are unexpectedly high, did not experience this in any other hotels on the same beach.

There are a few shops in the hotel, one of the shop keepers is a lady called Lilia. She goes around the hotel and the beach approaching everyone offering to go to a nearby factory. She is very persistent and annoying. My friends and I were approached at least 4 times during out stay. In the end we decided to go, being promised wrongly to find what we were looking for to buy. In reality we were brought to a fur/leather outlet in the centre of Side, met by very persistent sales people, who were openly saying we accept all methods of payment "just tell us where your money is we will find the way to get it". We all agreed that hotel must be aware that Lilia is approaching guests and this should not be the case at a five star hotel.

Another very disappointing issue was receptionist from Ukraine who wore a Ukrainian symbol as a pedant and was very rude and indifferent to friends of mine who are from Russia. The hotel is full of Russian speaking guests and displaying political views working in reception is beyond unacceptable. My friends were very upset and disappointed, this matter should be address very seriously by the hotel management.

Amazing stay at Barut Hemera
Pros:

I loved how this resort is setup to look like a park and because of the way it's setup, there is almost never a line at the elevators and even though it's full it does not feel crowded because the rooms and pools and restaurants are spread out throughout the resort. Also the walkway Side has is amazing

Cons:

The only thing that could use some improvements and the reason I deducted one point was the activities. Entertainment is pretty bland, it would help a lot if there were more options or if during the night shows they would engage with the guests rather than just a dance/concert. Also the rocks in the sea were not great

Schönes Hotel, gutes Essen und tolles Personal – nur die Katzen beim Essen waren sehr störend.
Pros:

Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt im Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war wirklich lecker und auch in puncto Sauberkeit und Hygiene waren wir sehr zufrieden. Sowohl die Zimmer als auch der Poolbereich waren sauber und gepflegt.
Besonders positiv möchten wir das Personal hervorheben. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und wirklich bemüht, den Gästen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen und für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu sorgen.

Cons:

Einen Punkt fanden wir allerdings wirklich sehr störend: die vielen Katzen in den Bereichen, in denen gegessen wird. Teilweise wurden die Katzen von anderen Gästen gefüttert, wodurch sie regelmäßig zu den Tischen kamen, nach Essen bettelten und sogar versuchten, auf die Tische zu springen. Wir würden uns sehr wünschen, dass das Hotel hierfür eine bessere Lösung findet und insbesondere darauf achtet, dass die Katzen aus den Restaurant- und Essbereichen ferngehalten werden.
Abgesehen davon waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt wirklich sehr zufrieden.

Amazing Hotel
Pros:

The hotel is amazing, everything was perfect. I start with the food, it was just great, you have a huge selection and varity and everything was extremely delicous. The staff is very kind and helpful. The poolside is beautiful, you have a lot of space, even if it seems full, you always find a place to chill. The beach is very beautiful, its fine sand and you can walk far into the see and still can stand. Even at the beach you can just order your drinks with your smart phone and they bring it very quickly to your table. The rooms are very clean and you have plenty of space. There are a few alacart restaurants, i did bot try them since the Hemera Restaurant was already enough for me. The animations at night were great, first it starts with kids dance show, where your children can join. After that there were different groups each night, for example, dance band, concerts, wizard show, acrobatic group etc. I want to thank Hemera and its staff for everything they did to make my stay comfortable.

Cons:

While walking into the water at the beach, there are a few rocks inside the water which are dangerous. If you wear water shoes then its not a problem but if not, then you have to be careful. If you want to avoid the the rocks you can just walk over the pier and go into the deeper water.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit tollem Essen, sehr freundlichem Personal und einer traumhaften Anlage – absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein wunderschönes Hotel! Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, das Essen super lecker und abwechslungsreich und das gesamte Personal unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Anlage ist traumhaft und perfekt zum Entspannen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder ins Barut Hemera kommen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Lovely grounds, decent rooms, and hard-working staff, but let down by visible underinvestment, average food, unmeasured
Pros:

The grounds and outdoor areas are genuinely nice and comfortable, with good quality sunloungers, lovely green lawns, and palm trees — you can tell someone cares about the gardens. The pool area is a real plus, and the kids club was good. The rooms are pretty good, and when we had an issue at check-in, they moved us without fuss. The à la carte restaurants were pretty decent and enjoyable, and guest relations were genuinely helpful getting these booked for us across the week. Drinks were decent in variety across the board, mostly cocktails made with cheap alcohol, soda, and flavoured syrups, and drinks service was fine in general. The staff themselves are good — friendly and hard-working.

Cons:

Honestly, this was not what I expected for the price we paid. There’s a general feeling of underinvestment and a lack of management/leadership across the hotel, and staff are clearly overworked and often left running in chaos mode rather than being properly supported. The hotel building itself is looking dilapidated and needs a refurb, which doesn’t match the price point. Entertainment was really average, and some nights were flat-out bad. Food was very average — nothing to call home about — with lots of cheese and tomatoes in different forms but not much real variation, and meat options were extremely limited, with the lamb or beef consistently tough and chewy. At the à la carte restaurants we often felt rushed once seated. Drinks were never measured, so the same cocktail ordered twice in a week never tasted the same, and the drinks cut-off times of 12-2pm made no sense and were genuinely annoying — the same applies to the waterslides and children’s pool area also closing 12-2pm, a strange, frustrating choice if you’re travelling with a child. The biggest disappointment by far was the beach and sea access: the first few metres into the water are covered in large, sharp rocks — I injured a toe and gave up on swimming in the sea entirely — and while there’s a plastic pier, it’s mossy, uncomfortable, and not a real alternative.
