Nice facilities but room for improvement
Pros:

Rooms and the facilities are lovely and well designed - very comfortable beds, sizable bathrooms. It was a beautiful hotel, with a stunning rooftop as well. Room service food from Nobu is excellent.

Cons:

For a hotel of this standard, there were a few things that fell below expectations. The buffet breakfast for 40 euros was very nice but overpriced - for that price I'd expect fresh hot food stations making eggs, pancakes etc. It was pretty much continental. Rooms lacked basics like body lotion/moisturiser and hand soap. The rooftop pool area while beautiful only has 4/5 beds and no umbrellas for shade.

I also found the quality of service hit and miss. We ordered room service one night and had to call 3 times for the leftovers and tray to be removed from outside our room, it was sat out and taken almost 20 hours later. Extra drinks were added to our bill on the roof and we had to ask for them to be removed. There's a bizarre abundance of security in the lobby and you can't use your key cards to visit other floors, which was tricky as we were staying as part of a large group for a wedding and couldn't visit each other's rooms to borrow things etc. Location isn't the best either. Overall it's a very pretty hotel with comfy rooms and facilities but wouldn't rush back.

Nice and spacious rooms, friendly staff.

Cons:

The AC in our room wasn't working properly and it was extremely hot. The staff came to fix it twice but it didn't change anything. The service at the poolside restaurant was also extremely slow, even though there weren't many guests. Our bar snacks took 40 minutes to arrive. The pool itself is also tiny and can barely fit 4 people.

Rooms were relatively well appointed with oriental aesthetic.

Cons:

Unclear why this was a 5* hotel, staff relatively standoffish, location poor, outdoor rooftop pool tiny (& closed for the duration of our stay) & spa area incurred additional charges just to use the pool/sauna facilities. Might be a cultural difference but seemed very strange for someone accustomed to the hotel standards of both the UK and Asia.

Good location, modern hotel 🤍
Pros:

I really enjoyed my stay at Nobu Hotel Barcelona. The hotel was modern, stylish, and very clean. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable with amazing city views, and the breakfast was excellent with a great variety of fresh options. The rooftop and restaurant were outstanding, offering delicious food and beautiful panoramic views of Barcelona. Overall, it was a luxurious and relaxing stay that I would highly recommend.

Cons:

The room service was not good in the evenings. It was always busy, and we were unable to order a beer because no one answered our request.
