Location
Only working ice machine was on the third floor. They seem to be shorthanded and we’re unable to come in and freshen the room after two days. I was told I had to bring the towels upfront myself. Nobody came to the room in the four days that I was there.
Staff was kind, room was spacious and bed was comfortable! Decent breakfast.
The curtains did not work and therefore light got into the room. I was on the e first floor so there was no privacy either.
The wifi was terrible, i traveled for work it mad it difficult
We stayed overnight on 1/28/26 in room 312. Several issues happened during our stay. When we first checked in, the desk clerk took my driver's license to make a copy of it and also said they needed a copy of my credit card (front and back). I said no because my credit card has my account number and pin number on the back along with my name on the front of the card. I thought that was not needed and would have been too easy for someone to get my personal information from the credit card.
1) Upon getting into the room, I checked the sink and noticed that it was not draining and really had very little water pressure coming out of the faucet.
So I went down to the front desk and told the clerk. I asked her if we could switch rooms and she said the only rooms she had the TV's did not work. I said this is not) going to happen, So she had to call an off site service man to come and fix our issue. He did fix the problem with the drain.
2) the mirror lights in the bathroom (3 of them) were missed matched for lighting.
3) the clock on the night stand did not work. Upon a closer look it did not have a power supply cord and also no batteries. So back down to the desk I went. She said she didn't have a power cord for it and the batteries she tried did not work. So I just left it at the front desk.
4) The closet mirror had a crack in it. So I notified the front desk so we would not get charged. Upon check in they said that they had put a $200.00 deposit for any incidentals.
5) There was not a Do Not Disturb sign to hang on the door. I really did not think too much of it until housekeeping knocked on our room door at 8:10am. Mind you that check out is not until 11:00am. I'm surprised that housekeeping didn't check with the front desk to see if we had checked out.
Positive comments,
The TV had lots of channel choices.
The shower was also good.
The breakfast had enough choices to choose from.
Nice location and comfortable stay until we overslept and at ten minutes past eleven they pounded on the door so hard and started yelling . I was trying to call the front desk and tell them we were running late and they had no phone in the room so I had to look it up. I even tried booking .com to extend our stay but then they were pounding on the door. Everyone there has been nice and polite and professional until then and it was so unexpected. It didn't feel like the quiet safe peaceful environment that it had always been before that moment. I felt very intimidated and very unsafe at that moment . The guy yelled at us another whole minute as We were rushing to put everything into our suitcase and the only thing I heard was you have five minutes to get out! We had done nothing else wrong except we were behind schedule. The other times we had stayed there when we had to work extra late in Boise we had never experienced such hostility or aggression. So this kind of treatment is unacceptable . We recommend your hotel to all our friends and family who come to Idaho , but we won't anymore. That was so unprofessional l and the housekeepers were laughing on our way out. So unprofessional
All of the above
Location, check in desk clerk, cost, room was comfortable
Breakfast had oatmeal, fill to water line but no microwave to cook it in. Server stayed in kitchen instead of accommodating guests or wiping up floor of food that guests could have slipped and fallen.
No curtains to pull across to darken room for sleeping.
Breakfast was well done except for fresh fruit. The apples were bad.
The privacy curtains in my room on the 3rd floor did not close. They wre only for show. The room only had sheer curtains that closed all the way. The lights from Vista Ave kept me awake and would wake me up late at night when car lights flashed going down the road.
Carpets need to be cleaned or replaced. The bed mattress needs upgrades as well.
The only ice machine was on the 3rd floor
The breakfast was good but I didn't care for the sausage. The price for my room with a jacuzzi tub couldn't be beat. Clean and comfortable room, pillows were exceptional
I didn't care for the breakfast sausage, pork would've been much better. Coffee creamer in some kind of dispenser would've been easier and faster instead of having to open multiple tiny servings. 24 hour swimming pool would've been nice.
