#1 Nicest Individual at Reception Desk
Pros:

After 13 hours of traveling (3 hour drive to the airport in Minneapolis, two flights, car rental, drive from Albany), we arrived at the Fairfield. Feeling rather tired, we were greeted by one of the nicest and most helpful people I have ever met at a hotel reception desk. Alex was kind, perky and gave us a room on the fourth floor (which was very quiet). She offered us fresh cookies, and provided excellent restaurant suggestions for dinner. I loved the fact that the bathroom had a walk-in glass door shower instead of a tub. Our room was clean and comfortable. A nice way to end a long day of travel.

Fabulous stay, will continue to go back!
Pros:

Always friendly staff. They have warm cookies at the front desk with complementary water bottles. Complementary breakfast and indoor pool/hot tub also makes it appealing

Cons:

We’ve only had one bad experience at this hotel and it was when the fire alarm went off at 7 in the morning.

A winter car emergency turned fond memory
Pros:

This experience started off with my family and I pulling over to help a car that went off the road during a NY winter snowstorm, in February…...

Once I recognized that the other driver was safe, I realized I pulled over too close to the guardrail and was stuck in the storm myself.
We were all stuck, me, the misses, and our two young sons (with a mini vacation on their mind).

You never know how much you need a tow truck until you need a Tow truck. Thank you!
(Wish I knew the tow companies name the man was great)!

Taylor (my her) initially called the Fairview’s neighboring sister property Home2 suites by Hilton Saratoga/Malta as they had amazing reviews.

When speaking to Mary, a wonderful representation of the hospitality industry, we realized the price was a little above what we intended to spend after losing an $150 for the tow.

Mary referred us to the Fairview and ultimately this review.
Mary informed us that the Fairview next door was under the same ownership and was recently totally remodeled. Also that they had more affordable rates with the same
caliber service(s).

Girl, were you right!Thank you so much Mary!

Taylor called the Fairview by Marriott Inn & Suites Saratoga/Malta and Teresa answered.

Teresa listened to our plight and quickly showed me that Mary was in fact right about the service at this facility.

Teresa ensured the best rate over the phone and let us finish the booking in person at the hotel.
Our circumstances at the time required my attention elsewhere.
Teresa understood.

Upon arrival Teresa made it clear she was in fact, Teresa, and quickly got us to our room.

Teressa, Gisele the night audit, Robin the colorful breakfast attendant, and THE ENTIRE team was fantastic. Including the young ladies at the front desk during the early evening, and the very presentably dressed houseman!
Everyone was articulately dressed in uniform, and smiling, which is the most important part of the uniform.

The facility was the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at, especially for the amazing rate Teresa guaranteed. The pool was warm, the hot tub warmer. The gym was clean, and pristine, with more than enough equipment.

Our hotel room itself was immaculate and I wish I could just live there.
Especially because we didn’t pack a lot for this trip as it was impromptu.
The less cleanup the morning of checkout the better, you feel me!?

I’m sitting in the lobby writing this review now, but I have to go wake up my family to eat breakfast before it closes, but everything looks amazing and I’m excited to eat before 10 o’clock ( I’m trying to lose weight).

I don’t think I’m gonna win my battle with the carbs today, and I’m okay to lose this one…
They have fresh baked donuts they have out.

Have a blessed day thank you everyone!

Just what I needed. I’ll be back. Thanks!
Pros:

Great location. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Smooth check in. Love the cookies and 24 hour coffee and tea. Clean, warm room. Nice sized refrigerator with an actual freezer. Decent breakfast. The waffles were good. (Some cut up fresh or frozen fruit to add on top would be nice.) Easy check out.

Cons:

I didn’t like the smoked kielbasa sausage for breakfast. I Preferred the sausage from my previous visit. The toiletries. Last time they gave me a rash. This time I used my own so not really a problem. *Suggestions- A little night light in the bathroom would be nice.
There should be a large garbage by the elevator for guests to get rid of their take out containers so they didn’t leave them outside their rooms.

Our stay was great except for the fact that our room never got cleaned.
Pros:

The room was very quiet. The pillows were fantastic. We enjoyed the breakfast.

Cons:

Our room was never cleaned at all after our first day's stay. The front desk said it was because of a "do not disturb" sign, but that's not true. They did absolutely nothing to make up for their mistake.
