Excellent hotel with very clean rooms, friendly staff, and at a superb location (literally a 15-min walk away from CBD, Braam, and other amazing attractions. It's also very nice to find such a green spot, with lots of trees and grass immediately next to the city center of buzzing Joburg! Recommended!

Pros:

DIRTY EXAMPLE UNDER THE BEDS HAVENT BEEN VACUUMED FOR MONTHS THE DINNING ROOM WAS TATY AND COULD SEE THE DIRT HANGING ON THE LIIGHT FITTINGS
THEY HAD ONLY ONE PLASTIC BOTTLE FOR TOMATOE SAUCE SALAD DRESSING WHICH WAS SHARED AMONGST ALL THE TABLES
WATER WASTEG WILL YOU WAIT TO GET HOT WATER OUT OF THE TAP
IN THE ROOM WE STAYED THERE WAS CONSTANT NOISE THROUGH OUT THE NIGHT ( LIKE WATER RUNNING AND MOTOR RUNNING ON A TIME SYSTEM)

Pros:

the building had some historical background which was nice. the pool was nice and the gym (however limited) was sufficient. the room had a good air conditioner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. the restaurant on the premises had a good assortment of food.

Cons:

the tv in the room was not a smart tv, nor did it have streaming capability so channel selection was a bit limited.

Le personnel était sympa dans l'ensemble.

Cons:

C'est le seul hôtel que nous n'avons pas aimé lors de notre séjour à Johannesburg. Il est éloigné de tout, nous étions quasiment seul dans l'hôtel à notre arrivée. Nous avions opté pour la formule en demi-pension pour ne pas se poser de question le soir. Mais attention il s'agit juste d'un forfait repas à ne pas dépasser, il fallait donc bien calculer pour ne pas être trop hors forfait. On n'a pas aimé le principe. De plus, il y a eu des remontées d'eaux usées dans la salle de bain, malgré l'intervention du technicien c'est revenu. L'odeur était insupportable, ça a gâché nos vacances. Nos enfants ne voulaient pas rester plus longtemps dans ce lieu. Nous avons décider de partir au bout de la 5ème nuit. Malgré nos demandes à l'établissements nous n'avons reçu aucune réponse concernant un dédommagement lié ce départ anticipé, on a donc payé 4 nuits en plus. On ne reviendra pas.

Cons:

J'avais pris cette chambre pour mon père qui nous accompagnait pendant les vacances. Il n'a pas aimé le séjour dans cet établissement. Particulièrement, l'environnement et tous les suppléments malgré la formule en demi pension, exemple: le cappuccino est payant au petit déjeuner. C'est dommage car, il a terminé ses vacances sur une note négative.

The stay was incredible
Pros:

The place was well kept cleanliness and the staff were amazing the food was amazing , the chef Elton had good vibes overall enjoyed the stay couldn’t stay longer wanted to extend but the rates went up drastically.
