Even though we paid the full price when we booked the room, they suddenly charged us an extra €15 per night. What nerve! The guy even told me, "You have no choice, you have to pay."

Regarding the Wi-Fi, it’s barely usable because it is incredibly slow.

The shower makes no sense. You can't close the door because there isn't one, so a ton of water spills out unless you're extremely careful - and even then, water still gets everywhere.

The mattress is very hard and uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, in Barcelona, prices are high for terrible rooms, and this is a "great" example of sub-par service for a full price.

And if you want coffee?
Forget it. There’s none. Only breakfast is available, and for an extra fee. Such a high price and not even a simple coffee in the room or the loby?

I’m speechless. A horrible place.

We were landing in the evening so I was looking for a hotel close to Plaza d'Espanya that would not ruin our budget. Evenia Rocafort perfectly fitted our needs. What was strange that we - a couple - were given a room with 2 double beds... But it was a short stay so not a big problem for us. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was OK, but there was some unpleasant smell (old bulding plumbing?) - fortunately it came away. Staff was very nice. They have the luggage storage free of charge for guests. Next door you'll find a small supermarket and very good restaurant (Ocho BCN - check my other review). Location is very good for exploring Barcelona - Poble Sec metro station is very close. The same for buses including the bus no. 46 to/from the airport.

Lovely hotel. Decor was great and room super clean. Staff were friendly.
The buffet breakfast had lot of choice, cereals, cheese, meats, fruit, bread, rolls and buns. Also hot food of scrambled eggs, bacon and mini sausages. Choice of juices, hot drinks and yoghurt.
I really liked the area as well, as all the bars and restaurants were full of locals, that meant the food and drinks were cheap! It is also close to bus and metro links so you can get to places. 5-6 minute walk.
I would recommend this place, and when I visit Barcelona again, I wll stay here again.

The hotel is on great location. The room was clean, not to small, great for couple. The breakfast was also good for a 3* hotel. The only thing we did not like is the window, it seems like the room does not have one and you dont know what part of the day is but the room has one. Metro station was max 100m far which is great.

The hotel's location is perfect, close to everything, the hotel's surroundings are very pleasant, the room has everything you need, the offer description doesn't mention a fridge, but there is a fridge in the room, it serves as a minibar, but there is still plenty of space for your own things, the room is cleaned every day, the reception staff is very nice, I highly recommend it for a few-day trip to Barcelona, ​​it's really worth it

Good location and price！

At arrival everything seemed okay but at night there was a lot of noise and you could litterly hear the people in the room next too you and on top cough. At thé breakfasts we arrived at 9h30 and the woman there didn't even say hello, the only thing she said was look at het watch as we were considered 'late' for breakfasts according to her. At check-out no one said hello or goodbye. Very unfriendly. Won't ever recommend this place.
