Been here many times.Location is good. asda & lots food shops, cinema .lakeside village.nice walk around lake. Within walking distance. Staff friendly beds were comfy.
Been here lots of times . This place REALLY needs a revamp its totally out of date very old looking for many years it's been like this maybe they need to look at reviews!!. I cant see why the owners of this hotel can make an effort & visit and spend some money on it?? Its a shame as could be a lovely little hotel. Carpets dirty, light shades cracked, walls needs painting, old nets/ curtains smells abit.
The staff were very helpful the facilities looked a little tired could do with a lick of paint but the breakfast was excellent and the location was brilliant for us

The room was so dirty and dated and had a musky smell. It was so bad we paid to check into a different hotel the second night as we didn’t want to stay again.

On check in, we weren’t given a slip to make our breakfast choices but we were told that as this was included, we would be limited to choosing 3 items only. When we asked about dinner, we were told that there was no chef available which meant we had to leave the hotel & find a restaurant.
Our room was an accessibility room & as my wife is not tall, it was very difficult for her to get in & out of the bath tub. Also, there were several fixtures that were rusty. On the booking confirmation, it stated clearly that a parking app was required to pay for parking whilst at the hotel. On arrival, we had difficulty in the payment process so went in to reception to get advice, where we were told that parking was free for guests.

No cook so no evening food.
No draught beers at all.
Only three sockets in the room, 1=tv no sockets by the bed!!

The location is really good. It is right next to the Dome where we had gone for an event.
The room is very basic. There is no AC or fan in the room which came as a major shock as it was peak summer with temperatures soaring. The toiletries in the shower were empty. However if all this is ignored then it is fine.
