We had the best time at this hotel for our weekend trip to New York——all of the staff was so kind and helpful with everything, the room was clean and more than spacious, and the provided breakfast was the perfect way to start our mornings!!

Big room(s) for our family of 5 so everyone was very comfortable. Mariela, Jovan , Justin were all incredibly helpful…great location too; we’ll be back

The Bayard is the coziest little hotel with the nicest staff ever. They upgraded our room, which was a wonderful surprise. It feels more like you're staying at a friend's place, if that friend had Parachute linens. And the proximity to Grand Central is clutch!

The hotel itself was awesome. Lots of room to move around & spread out. We had a show to attend and location was perfect; easily walkable. Very clean, street noise was minimal. Definitely will return.

What an amazing place! I want to tell everyone about it but at the same time I want to keep it my little secret! The hotel is beautiful, I love the size, only 10 floors makes it feel like an apartment building. The staff at the front (Marilyn? I think! You were awesome!) Is always so friendly and helpful. There is always someone there. I cannot get over the rooms. It was beautiful, comfortable, it was like my house. It was a whole apartment!!!!! I could absolutely live there. There was so much space. The penthouse has the best terrace. And you cannot beat the full kitchen. I cooked steak and asparagus and baked potatoes IN MY HOTEL ROOM PEOPLE! I love it there, I hated to leave, and I will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the Bayard. Our 1 bedroom apartment was really spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fine and the staff really helpful and welcoming. The location was great and near to a subway.

My daughter and I went with friends of ours for a girls weekend in NYC and this hotel was such a great home base! There was some weird gushing water sounds through the walls at night in the master bedroom, but overall the suite was clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. It was close to broadway for the show we were seeing, the breakfast served our needs, and the welcome snacks were such a nice touch. I’d definitely go again with friends or family.

Great location. Spacious, clean rooms and good amenities. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

Writing this review after several attempts to communicate with management and there being no resolution. Beware of frequent water outage issues at the property. We had no water, therefore no toilets/showers/ability to wash dishes in the period leading up to a 24 hour trip home. We were encouraged to wait for management to contact us post check out for refund after having paid a very large nightly cost for a room with no water. We did not hear from management and since then, they have sent countless emails explaining it’s not their fault and that credit card details aren’t available for refunds to be processed due to their rebranding from best western. The list of reasons why they cannot assist further and offered a credit is exhausting and very poor customer service. They rely on you checking out and leaving the country and dropping the complaint. Note that in June and August there were other water issues from reviews. Three incidents in 6 months. Booking here is a risk as there appears to be ongoing issues - I directly quote their engineer that said it happens often.

I have no further time to discuss this with the management team, they obviously have no interest in providing reimbursement otherwise they would pick up the phone and ask for my credit card details.

Please also be aware that we stayed on the 6th floor and the ground window opens up from the bottom with no safety railing. If a young child opened this, they would basically drop 6 floors.

Wonderful location centrally located to the main sights and in a safe area. Staff were outstanding - friendly and welcoming, particularly Mariella and Jose

There were heating and plumbing issues. The manager worked to fix the issue and was very accommodating. It was not neglect of the building, the city was working on water lines that impacted every business on the street.

The apartments had great space and were perfectly suited for a family.
The location was amazing being in the heart of Manhattan, with walking distance to everything.

I visited NY for my 29th Birthday on January 9th. From the time I checked in, I was profiled because I look young and had two other guests. Although I provided proper identification I still did not receive the level of customer service I expected. The suite I reserved was a two bedroom that would accommodate 6 people and it was beautiful. The space was clean.

Location was central, Breakfast was lovely- good variety fresh and warm. Staff were very friendly and helpful they kept our luggage on the last day as we had a late flight home. The room was clean and spacious and was nice to bring food and drinks back at the end of a long day sightseeing and to chill on sofa.
