Great value - Very close to the Matterhorn Gondola - Easy access to everything
Pros:

We stayed in the sister property the Bonetti Apartments across the street from the Alpenblick. The room was a good sized studio with a kitchen and a larger bathroom. We really liked the heated bathroom floors. We were on the ground floor, which was good for access to the Matterhorn Gondola (5 mins walk). It was about 4-5 floors of stairs to get to the very good breakfast in the main hotel. We didn't mind the stairs, but some people might. This was a last minute booking to extend our trip and we were happy with it. The beds we ok, but not as nice as the previous nights in another hotel.

Cons:

It was a small surprise to be staying across the street from the main hotel. It was some effort to carry the bags down many flights of stairs to our place. In the end it was ok, because the access to the lifts was easier from there.

Pros:

Le personnel est très gentil.
Le petit déjeuner est très bien, frais et copieux.
Le sauna est très agréable

Cons:

Il n’y avait pas un lit large avec un seul matelas dans la chambre. Seulement eux lits avec deux matelas et sommiers.

If the bed and pillows were more comfortable, it would greatly enhance the overall stay experience.

Partial Mountain View, Great Access to the gym which is just opposite my room.

The rooms feel very dated, and the overall décor gives the hotel an old‑fashioned vibe. The location is quite far from the train station, and the walk there is challenging—especially with the steep slopes, snowy weather, and slippery paths upon arrival. The mattresses are not very comfortable, and the bed frames also feel worn out.
That said, the hotel has the charm of a family‑run property, and it may appeal to travelers who enjoy a quiet environment both day and night. If you’re someone who loves skiing, the proximity to ski‑accessible areas is definitely a plus. Otherwise, guests looking for something more modern or conveniently located may prefer other options.

Familiengeführtes Traditionshaus
Pros:

In diesem Hotel fühlt man sich willkommen. Die Betreiberfamilie ist sehr gastfreundlich. Für mich haben sie extra einen Topper für's Bett organisiert. Nicht, dass die Matratze durchgelegen war, ich habe nur einen empfindlichen Rücken.
Außerdem kann ich das Frühstück und die kostenfreie Sauna nur empfehlen.

Lage des Hotels ist perfekt um zu Fuß zur Talstation Furi zu gelangen. Fußläufig sind alle wichtigen Sachen erreichbar.
Die Zimmer waren sauber und der Blick aufs Matterhorn war traumhaft.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist unheimlich vielfältig und sehr lecker.
Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
