Muy buena ubicación y muy agradable.

While staying at the hotel unfortunately the guests next door to us were acting less than civil and we could hear everything. My husband went down to the desk and spoke to Carol who listened to our situation and went into action to make our stay enjoyable. She sprinkled her “pixie dust” and found us a room that was far away from the problem and allowed us to enjoy our stay in peace and quiet. And next time you hear bells ringing it’s not angels getting wings it’s Carol sprinkling her pixie dust.
Our favorite place to stay while visiting Newport. We have been coming to this location for the past 9 years. We especially love the proximity of the hotel to the cliff walk and Sachuest point.
The views, rooms, and amenities are all top notch. Hot tub on the roof is just an added bonus to an already fabulous hotel.
If there is a problem, they are quick to fix / resolve the issue with care and tact. 5 stars to management and supporting hotel staff!

We stayed in the Historic building…Priceline said our room had a FULL KITCHEN it did not! The hotel was renovated 2 years ago and they did a great job. Its modern, clean, comfortable bed and the staff is exceptional! Kristen and Lisa were amazing. Where they lacked. The tv was huge however you cannot connect to Amazon or Netflix even with an external device. Even though it is a smart tv the hotel has external apps disabled so no way to stream anything but you tube. In this day and age this is unacceptable! The shower is new but nowhere at all to place your own toiletries! This is a great hotel location so if the wifi and streaming is not an issue you will live it!

The staff is warm, friendly and accommodating, especially at the front desk. They also seem to have all the answers to all the questions.
My room was lovely and quiet. Parking is included. The beach is right there.
There is a resort fee, which is not the hotel’s fault and is a standard in Newport.
My bottom line is I would love to go back.

Beautiful hotel, we stayed two nights in the historic building which was recently renovated. It is a bit pricy, but overall we felt worth the money for the location and comfort. We had 1 queen room which was perfect for us, spacious enough and upgraded bathroom which was nice and the room decor was pretty and subtly nautical themed. The building itself is old so, as expected has some little quirks but we felt added to the charm. Things like a fairly steep staircase and a slow tiny elevator. Nothing at all that impacted our stay in a bad way. Breakfast was included from 7-10 every morning. Mostly a continental selection plus a waffle bar. This was a nice little benefit and decent selection for two people who aren’t big breakfast eaters to grab something small before heading out.
The real positive is the location, right across from the beach and the beginning of the Cliff Walk, less than a 5 minute drive into the center of Newport. There were a couple of restaurants right in the immediate area of the hotel and then much more in the center of Newport.
The staff were friendly and responsive throughout our stay, offered tips and dining reservations and could not have been any kinder. Housekeeping was offered daily which is a unicorn in 2025. This was a delightful short stay but would absolutely recommend to others traveling in the area.
The location was excellent! The veiw was amazing. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
