Quiet and picturesque location along the Main river. Beautiful old town center, Karlstadt, to explore.
Acceptable rooms for 3 star accommodation.
Unfortunately, slow, slow service at supper and breakfast service. Meals were soso and breakfast coffee was way too thin to drink. Thankfully, staff made an espresso to compensate.

This hotel was beyond my expectation.
Pros:

It was an excellent experience for us to stay here for just one night. The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the lady serving our breakfast. The room is spacious and bathroom is very clean. Although I thought the room needs some pictures of the town, otherwise the walls seem empty ;) Other than that, this hotel was beyond my expectation. Another kudo point is the sauna, it's was my wife that insisted me to come here for that and we were not disappointed. Thank you so much, we will sure hope to come back again.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht und sind relativ spät angekommen, jedoch war jede Begegnung mit dem Personal und dem Service sehr freundlich und erfreulich.
Nur das an sich tolle Frühstück gestaltete sich etwas zäh, was das Brot anging. Die Semmeln wurden aufgebacken und teilweise nur paarweise (also 2 Stück) in den Brotkorb des Frühstücksbuffets gelegt, ebenso sparsam wurde mit dem Brot umgegangen. Das war etwas schwach, denn mittlerweile gibt es wirklich überall Bäcker, die Sonntags Semmeln anbieten.

Dies ist eine wunderbare Station zum Seele-Auftanken nach langer Reiseabstinenz durch Corona! Der Biergarten direkt am Fluss lud noch vor dem Einchecken zum Durstlöschen ein. Für die Fahrräder gibt es eine abschließbare Garage. Das Abendessen auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Main war sehr lecker. Das Zimmer groß, sauber mit großer Duschkabine. Abendliches Sitzen auf dem Balkon mit Wein von der Bar und Blick auf den Fluss - einfach toll! Abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet und nettes Personal. Wandern möglich, Freibad in der Nähe, nette Lokale in Fußweite - was will man mehr? Wir kommen wieder :-)

Feine kleines Hotel in Karlstadt.
Service it sehr bemühteinem Corona nicht spüren zu lassen.
Einige Kleinigkeiten bzgl. Funktionalitätwürde den Eindruck noch verbessern, bspw. Verkalkte Duschbrause.

The Beds were not comfortable because they kept separating in the middle as they were two single beds pushed together and the headboard was awkward
The WFI was really bad would not even connect most of the time
