Pros:

Rooms look good, a short distance from beach

Cons:

Given a keycard to a room that someone else was staying in, if this was done with other person, how easy is it to duplicate the key card, and give it to someone else, and that someone else entering my room and taking my personal belongings.

Shower was not properly cleaned.
Dirty.

Air-conditioner, not working correctly
Only blowing HOT air.

Wall plugs, loose, almost falling out.

Passage carpets dirty and warn out.

Incorrect information given at main desk with regards to breakfast.

Pros:

The shower and view from 7th floor.. room was clean.. I like the gym room. Bed was comfortable. The pillow was soft. Some staff were friendly.

Cons:

No Netflix's in family room. Room service didn't get order correct also takes long to deliver and Teas coffee served in disposable cups. Don't cater for vegetarians.. some staff are not friendly. This hotel does not fit the Tsogo Sun Standard. I paid for breakfast in my stay and because I had to leave early was told they cannot pack a take away..no room service menu in my room no tea spoons in my room. Room lighting was dull.

We loved our stay and will be back for our regular visits to Summerstrand.
Pros:

We really appreciated how accomodating the hotel and staff were in setting up the room and accomodating our family travelling with a 1 year old.

Beautiful location with friendly staff
Pros:

Perfect location. Close to the beach.

Cons:

The room we had the window fitting was loose and some rain was entering the room. Also it was very cold because of the window not sealing properly

Cons:

The rooms. We booked 2 executive rooms but according to my experience with other hotels I have visited the rooms we got is too far to meet standard of executive rooms. I think it needs more improvement
