Awesome!
Pros:

Very comfortable and relaxing place. Very nice breakfast.

Cons:

There was water cut on 14 Feb in the morning. Hotel need to consifer having water tanks for emergency.

Another fine stay at The President
Pros:

Stayed 7 nights at The President in January 2026 and had a wonderful time yet again. It's a super hotel walking distance to many shops, supermarkets, bars & restaurants and the open top sightseeing bus stop at the end of the road so you are very well situated.

Every time I stay here it's always a different room and this time was no different. The main bedroom was spacious but the console table which was under the wall mounted TV was gone so the area looked a little bare and the dandling TV wires unsightly, a minor point. There was a fridge , microwave, kettle and iron. 2 bottles of filtered water are replaced every day which is great. Plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space for clothes.

The bathroom was a good size and this time there was a bath which was a bonus. Plenty of towels and shower gel / shampoo dispensers on the wall.

Breakfast is included and it is excellent, everything you could possibly want to start your day and it's constantly replenished so you never have to wait too long if something is not there. It runs until 11.00 so no need to rush down early for a table.

The pool area has been remodelled and landscaped and it looks great, nice tropical vegetation but there is less space for the sun loungers so not as many as before unfortunately which can make it a little hard to get a bed sometimes as people disappear leaving items to reserve them for when they return hours later.

The staff are a credit to the hotel , nothing is too much trouble, they are always happy to help. They are always cheerful and smiley which is something you do not always get in some hotels.

With the nearby Cole hotel which recently opened in December 2025 and The Bantry Aparthotel by Totalstay they are to be joined by 2 other new hotels which are in the process of being built on Regent Road, there will be much more competition in the area for hotel rooms later in 2026 but hopefully The President will retain it's good service & standing and outshine them all.

A warm, friendly hotel with comfortable rooms and pool area, close to Seapoint’s amenities.
Pros:

The familiarity. This was my third stay. It has been tastefully refurbished and the service is really excellent. The location was convenient although the nearby streets, where the shops and the sea front are, were dirtier and less pleasant than I remember.

Cons:

The pool area wasn’t well supervised. Twice we had to go and find staff to stop unsupervised children from throwing balls, splashing and screaming in the adult section of the pool, spoiling everyone’s enjoyment of the facilities. Being family-friendly is all very well, but with the prices they charge, adults’ comfort should be their first concern. The bathroom was tiny - not even a shelf for a wash bag - but the room included a completely unnecessary kitchenette.

I came back to the President Hotel after 50 yrs since last visit and found it a delightful experience, particularly being a solo traveller.

Cons:

Apart from the gym which was quite minimal, a lot of changes had been made to make the place more up to date to the times.

We were given a room over the security boom with the noise becoming unbearable but concierge did move us

i was told off a few times for smoking/vaping even when in the smoking section.

the service was so irregular - some staff were amazing and others were just abysmal

i picked up E.Coli and I am pretty sure it was from the hotel as that is where i was most of the time and eating and drinking etc.

A member of staff told us that the hotel had several cases of sickness and she feared it was from the water.

All in all I will probably not return to your hotel and look for something better.
