Honestly VERY impressed by this hotel. We weren't expecting much considering how affordable it was. The hotel is right next to the beach on the main plaza area. Lots of cute shops and right next to some boat tour tickets which I HIGHLY recommend visitors to do. Breakfast was great and the beds were huge and comfy!! For the price and location, an AMAZING hotel in a BEAUTIFUL town!!
No cons in particular. Just minor things like outlets not being conveniently placed or the safe box being broken.

Fantastic location! Best location for the beach and for Carvoeiro village, everything is in walking distance… also the breakfast is really good and when we stayed every morning the croissants were fresh and warm out of the oven…
I’ve stayed many times over 25 years and the only downside that can never change unfortunately is their pool! Because it’s small and is in a courtyard with surrounding walls! But your across the road from the beach and that’s amazing to have it just because hotel!!! We love the beach so pool isn’t a consideration!

The location was unbeatable
It is right at the heart of the little village as well as a few steps to a beach cove.
Their policy of me trying to cancel one night two days in advance, yet keeping the next two nights as my plans from the states changed. They would not budge. I had two rooms booked and gave them this business and could have stayed anywhere else. I was only asking for a credit back on one room for the first night. As a result, the room sat until we arrived the next afternoon.
Did not care that the swimming pool was shaded by the surrounding buildings.
Die Lage ist toll und der Pool, das sind aber auch schon die einzigen positiven Aspekte.
Die Einrichtung ist sehr veraltet, spartanisch und beengt, das Zimmer hatte Null Charme, der Schrank in der Wand hatte keine Türen. Die Polster extrem unbequem. Das Bad extrem verwinkelt, Zugang zur Dusch-Badewanne umständlich und gefährlich, scharfe Kanten, ein hoher Rand. Das schlimmste war aber die schlechte Dichtung der Balkontüren. Trotz Oropax haben wir die ganze Nacht den Lärm der Straße und Lokale gehört. In der Dichtung haben wir dann sogar einen Spalt bemerkt, der wurde zwar von einem Mitarbeiter notdürftig repariert und uns wurde ein anderes Zimmer in den ruhigeren Innenhof angeboten, aber uns hat es einfach gereicht, so viel Geld für so wenig Komfort auszugeben, sind 4 Tage früher abgereist. Der Balkon war winzig und es gab einfach keine Haken, keine Aufhängmöglichkeiten für nasse Handtücher oder Badesachen. Es ist ein Strandhotel?! Im feuchten Bad gab es ein paar Stangen, aber unsere Handtücher wurden nie trocken. Vielleicht ist das Hotel ok für eine Nacht wenn man den ganzen Tag am Meer verbringt und sich dann 10 Cocktails gönnt, für uns war es leider eine herbe Enttäuschung.
