Food was amazing, kids loved the hotel and facilities

Loved our stay!

Great hotel with lots to do. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite on the 2nd floor. I have an almost 3 year old who likes to climb and wasn’t sure how high the balconies are. So I emailed requesting a low room. It was also handy if you couldn’t be bothered waiting for the lifts (which are a dream btw).

My boy is fussy and had no issues finding food to eat. I was expecting the worst from reading the reviews on this page. Please don’t let this put you off. Food from 6.30am until midnight. Always something to eat/drink.

Another worry was the pools. They weren’t any colder than any other pools I’ve been to abroad. The splash pool is the coldest as the water is constantly being topped up. The kids pool is ideal temperature. Enough to cool you down but not too cold to splash about. I even managed the swim up bar and it was ideal.

I seen a post about not getting fancy glasses for cocktails. You do if you’re sitting in with your drinks.

Weather was fantastic for us from 10th - 15th October. Mid 20s all week. Hotel is in an ideal location to walk down the strip and I also recommend Play Albufeira - Eat, Learn & Play if you need soft play for your little ones in a safe environment. Plus you can also enjoy alcoholic beverages! 15 minute walk from the hotel.

Taxis are super cheap but if you’re looking for safe travel then I recommend Relax Pearl Transfers. We were €80 return to the airport and the best part was the rear facing car seat. Saved us a huge hassle bringing our own! This seat was only purchased by the company last year so this gave me peace of mind.

Overall amazing holiday, great hotel and perfect weather. Wish we stayed longer!

Location - I personally like being closer to the beach. The hotel is around 25/30 minute walk in land from the beach. We took private transfers which was around 35/40 minutes from the airport. Around the hotel itself there is a larger spar supermarket and some smaller shops and some smaller bars. The new town strip is around 10 minutes walk but we didn’t venture as know it’s for a younger/different audience.

Check in - very smooth arrived around 11pm after delay and was done including a few others ahead in around 15/20 minutes. App is in place and a good overall view of the hotel.

Rooms - excellent spacious big bed and we had a good view from room 920 with a very spacious balcony. Air con was great. Plenty of storage space and an smart TV for the kids later at night.

Pool - excellent also. One quiet pool we used once which was nice. One shallow child pool which was popular as it got warm in the sun. Large pool with swim up bar excellent. Small kids pool with small aqua park. This one the only one for me that was very cold only because the water always rotated. Rest ok in my view.

Slides - great for our 9 year old and me on occasions! No queues really

Football pitch - large sand based and was good for our 2 year old boy. Very popular.

Park - really good for our 2 year old but can get hot in the day as in direct sunlight

Food - the reason for the 4 together with location for me. It was ok, good for kids. For us adults it was ok. Nothing of particular note that we were left saying was a good meal. 2 self service stations which were a repeat of each other with a larger middle section for salads and desserts. Kids section separately. Desserts in my opinion were not good. We used alcerim restaurant once excellent service and food was better

Snack bar - sandwiches, jelly and cake available. Ice creams were great. Felt could add more options as sandwiches weren’t the best. Maybe some jacket potatoes etc.

Drinks - excellent cocktails and selection of soft drinks. Mocktails for the kids

Animation team - excellent during the day a lot of activities and my 9 year old enjoyed it with all of the staff really good woth her and made a big part of her stay.

Evening entertainment - Not great usual mini disco but limited afterwards. A bouncy castle. Trampolines and go karts were great but expensive as an additional we used sparingly.

Spa and gym - wife and daughter used happy hour at the spa which they enjoyed and I used the gym on occasions which was ok but busy at times and very hot also.

Overall an excellent stay for kids for sure. We did like also the fact there was no exit other than the main reception so was safe for kids. For adults more limited but ok.

Just retuned from an amazing trip to Jupiter Albufeira and I can’t recommend it enough. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are all so lovely. My little boy has an anaphylactic food allergy and this is possibly the best place I’ve ever stayed in regards to catering for his allergy, I didn’t feel uneasy at any point during our stay with meal times like I have in other hotels and he didn’t miss out of anything! Everybody went above and beyond to cater to his dietary needs and that means so much to a parent of a child with a serious allergy.
