Nice location and walking distance to Alvarado and wharf.

Cons:

Not happy that house keeping didn’t tidy up room on second day of my stay. Called desk and was told someone would stop by to remove trash and provide new towels but no one ever came by. Disappointed with that

Very disappointed

The hotel is nice, the room was nice.

Cons:

We stayed for one night and were told we would not get housekeeping, which was perfectly fine. Checkout was at 12 pm and at around 930 am, we had housekeeping knock and wake us up, when we answered through the door, they said nothing and walked off, at about 10:40, the exact same thing happened again and once again they just walked off. We took this as if we were being rushed to leave or this is complete incompetence on their part? When i brought it up to the front desk, instead of just saying they would talk to them, they tried to cover it up saying maybe i requested a wake up call or they were asking about room service? Really? This isnt a cheap hotel and i have not experienced this before but this is not ok, i know what time check out is and unless i am there past that time, guests should not be bothered by housekeeping like that! Very disappointed!

Pros:

Great staff and the room was nice and spacious. Lighting was a underdone and for a double double room it would have been nice to have four chairs. But in general we were pleasantly surprised with the room appointments and cleanliness. The lounge/bar looked cosy for a evening meal but we arrived after dinner service.

Cons:

Breakfast was a little average but I honestly didn't expect anything flash and you're in ideal territory for lovely cafe breakfast if you have the time. The carpets in the hallways up to the second floor rooms were a bit smelly but the room itself was great.
