Voor een kamer van €100 zou je verwachten dat er koffie en thee op de kamer zou zijn. Maar dat was niet zo.
De kamers waren zeer gehoorzaam: ik kon het echtpaar er naast letterlijk verstaan als ik Frans zou spreken.
De beide bedlampjes waren defect.
Onduidelijk waar je koffie kon krijgen.
Gorgeous setting
De ligging was fijn, het restaurant was super goed, de mensen waren echt super vriendelijk en behulpzaam en de bedden waren echt heerlijk

Un peu ennuyeux la proximité d’une rivière dont on entend le murmure pendant la nuit...mais on be peut pas enlever la rivière non plus
The vegetables at dinner were very disappointing and didn’t look appetising-poor presentation
The restaurant meal was fabulous and good value. The staff spoke excellent English and had a great knowledge of wine to recommend. The secure parking and large grounds were also of benefit to me.

The main building of the hotel was lovely however as we had a dog we were placed in a
Lovely dining room with outside view of the river timing past. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The evening meal service was perfection and we had three superb evening meals served by wonderful staff. Breakfast also very good
As we had a dog our room was in a separate annex and it was very small.
There was not a window we could open for ventilation and we had to leave the patio door open at night with the shutter down which wasn’t ideal. It was dark and had a rather musty smell. I did try to change the room but the hotel was full which was a good sign, so the lady in reception when we arrived was unable to move us which we understood but it was a bit disappointing to be out of the main hotel just because we had a dog.

Absolutely everything. We were upgraded to a very spacious room with a large private terrace which we really appreciated. The food was simply out of this world. Beautifully presented, original and very tasty. We will definitely be going there again. The location although somewhat isolated is really peaceful and we enjoyed a short stroll in the grounds.

It was quite difficult to find. It was a really nice hotel. Difficult to find anything wrong with it.

Our room with a terrace was very nice. The staff were pleasant and accomoating
The shower had no curtain and flooded when used
There was very little choice for dinner. Two fixed menus, one at 31euro and one at 41. Neither had anything remotely vegetarian - my wife luckily does now eat fish and had one choice. However the salmon was raw in the middle and had to be re-cooked. For the amount you pay, it should be have been better

Food was exceptional
Dinner good, beds very comfortable and rooms with everything you need, clean and nice. Breakfast lovely. A charming overnight stop off Inn enroute south with a delightful garden and thoughtful touches. We will return.
Room a little small, stay away from the road if you can.
