Cons:

Cleanliness was lacking. Mould, dirt, grime, smashed glass wall, filthy stove top, caked on dusty vents and more.

Pros:

Great location and facilities and very helpful staff at the Oaks. We were in Adelaide primarily for Gather round and impressed with walking and public transport options for all tourist activities we did Gym facilities and pool appealed too as also the security of the hotel.
Will stay again next year.

Cons:

The only minor gripe was price, expected for the Gather round weekend. This also meant booking was required late last year and paid shortly, not an option for all. Cost was offset as we walked most places.

Comforts of home away from home
Pros:

Location. It was a great size for the three of us. The bathroom was accessible to all, with it feeling like an ensuite to the main bedroom.

Cons:

A little bit dated.

Disappointing and would not recommend
Pros:

The bed was comfortable apart from that it was awful and the staff were great they handled the many issues that we had with the parking and unit problems quite well.

Cons:

We had problems with parking in the public car park next door. Boom gate wouldn’t go up , couldn’t get out with scanned paper, trouble finding a park under casual reserve. The lounge was dreadful, no support , very uncomfortable,definitely need a new one. The range hood didn’t work but did get fixed. My card wouldn’t work to get into hotel, lift and room. The hot plates were not hot and the frypan handle was broken. The deluxe unit wasn’t very deluxe or well maintained. We paid top dollar to stay there and were very disappointed

Cons:

Accomodation prices significantly increased due to Gather Round, yet the bathroom shower floor needs a big scrub. The white tile floor of the showers is black in dirt!
Not great for $955 per night!

Would highly recommend to families who want a central location and close to sights and restaurants
Pros:

Great central location, good size for families. Apartment was clean and bathroom was huge.

Cons:

Carpark lift wasn’t working at the time, but it was easy enough to use the stairs.
