A very nice comfortable hotel in an excellent location
Pros:

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Good facilities including fitness centre and pool.

Cons:

The breakfast was okay but let down slightly by various items on the 'hot' plate not being particularly hot, i.e. vegetarian sausage, mushroom and baked beans

Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, ausreichend Personal und Sonderwünsche werden umgehend erfüllt. Auch der Pool hat eine vernüntige Größe zum Schwimmen, Lage zur Innenstadt ist top (kurzer Weg über die Drehbrücke) aber trotzdem ruhig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Fluss mit toller Aussicht, sehr komfortabel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Keine günstige Wahl, aber uns hat das Gesamtangebot überzeugt.

Staff were very helpful and polite. Anything we needed it wasn’t an issue. Would definitely go back.

Great hotel for a city break
Pros:

The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was amazing. Free use of the pool during the stay was a big part of why we chose here. Having hotel parking was also ideal. Staff at breakfast were really friendly and helpful. The views from our room were outstanding.

Cons:

Car park was expensive. Not the biggest of rooms, and could have done with some drawer space.

Well situated hotel with excellent facilities
Pros:

Room was on 4th floor with an excellent view of the river and the city of Newcastle. Staff were very friendly especially Andrew and Angela who were on duty at the restaurant for breakfast. The swimming pool and fitness centre facilities were also very good.

Cons:

Some breakfast items such as mushrooms, vegetarian sausage and baked beans were cold despite being on the 'hot plate'
