Most of it was fine
Pros:

Breakfast excellent. Nice staff. Room was lovely. Early evening meal in restaurant was very nice with good quick service.

Cons:

Unable to get a coffee at 10.35pm! Been to a show and friends travelling home. We wanted drink in bar and they wanted coffee due to driving home. Very disappointed. Surely 10.35pm on a busy Saturday evening, having attended a show at the Glasshouse, is not too much to ask in an international hotel to have a coffee! Lack of zero alcohol drinks too. It did spoil the end of our evening. Friends went straight home and we went off to bed.

A very comfortable hotel with helpful and friendly staff.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good, a variety of choices including special orders eg omelettes. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we had a table with a view over the Tyne!

A landmark hotel with service and rooms to match!
Pros:

What a fantastic place to stay while in Newcastle. We had show-stopping views from both of our rooms, breakfast was everything we needed, and staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly. Shout out to Berlinda at reception, she was a great laugh!

A little tired
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice size bed and comfortable pillows.

Cons:

Bathroom looked tired and shower was rubbish. I thought I was treating myself by staying at the Hilton, but it didn't really feel like it.
