Unenventable stay, overpriced parking

Ideal location. If the weather is bad you don't even need to go outside to get to a variety of restaurants, cafes and family entertainment.

Pros:

Every service that I requested fir was turned down without offering me an alternative ... .its only the cleaning staff were really respectful kind and good ...One employee even insulted the other staff at the valet parking facility because he assisted me which is no good for the reputation of crown and I made this known to another officer who was in charge of the valet parking about this incident .

Extremely average

The property is always nice, clean etc.

Cons:

When booking, I listed that 3 adults would be staying. There were only enough supplies in the room for two adults. We asked for another set of everything for the 3rd guest and that didn’t arrive. Hours later the request was submitted again and eventually arrived.

The valet parking staff were not helpful upon our initial arrival & we’re not clear with the service available.
When I decided to go ahead with the valet parking, the staff were not friendly.
I waited for almost an hour the next morning for my car, only to be informed that my car had a flat tyre and the staff could not figure out how to assist me.
I organised RACV to attend, staff questioned me why I needed RACV to enter the valet parking. When the car tyre was eventually changed and I needed to be let out of the valet parking area, a staff member rudely said to me ‘what are you doing down here, how did you get in here’.

I was stuck at the motel for 2 hours, trying to arrange everything by myself while being treated poorly by the staff. I was not offered any support or assistance or even an explanation of what had happened to my car which is a brand new car!!

I was not offered any type of reimbursement or explanation. Or worst of all, any friendly support.
I travelled from Gippsland & was forced to leave the motel and head straight to a car tyre repairer to have my car fixed before I could travel back down the hwy safely. Not to mention the added cost of having the tyre repaired.
Check out was 11am, it was 2:30pm before I was able to leave Melbourne.
The whole ordeal put a negative on my and friends experience with the Promenade. Which I recommended as I have always loved staying there previously.

A lot of the negativity could have been avoided if staff were a little more compassionate, friendly and respectful.
