Pros:

Die Lage, die Ausstattung, das Ambiente

Cons:

Dass es in einem solchen Hotel nicht einmal eine kleine Wasserflasche zum Empfang im Zimmer gibt. Außerdem hat mich das Roomservicemenü schockiert, es gibt nur zwei Optionen, ein Schnitzel und einen Kabeljau, keine vegetarische Option, das fand ich wirklich schockierend.

Incredible hotel in a perfect location.
Pros:

I didn't realize until crossing the street from the train station that the hotel was immediately there on the other side of the street. The location is incredible - close to transit and very walkable. The hotel itself is stunning and I loved the old elegance feel to it. The room itself was comfortable, quiet, and spacious.

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like is that I wish I could have stayed here another night!

Das Hotel ist stark renovierungsbedürftig. Bäder mit Wannen ohne Dusche, ohne Fußbodenheizung inakzeptabel.
Überall Gebrauchsspuren, Flure düster, durch Fußballevent sehr laut.

Nicht alles perfekt im "Le Méridien", aber das Meiste
Pros:

Ausgezeichnete zentrale Lage in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs Nürnberg. Bemerkenswert die Infotafeln dazu, welche berühmten Gäste im "Le Méridien" schon logiert haben, z.B. Konrad Adenauer, Theodor Heuss, die Beatles (1966), Sigmund Freud, Carl Gustav Jung. Das Grandhotel "Le Méridien" versprüht den Charme des 20. Jahrhunderts, es ist ein Hotel der besonderen Art und hinterlässt einen unvergesslichen Eindruck.

Das Frühstück ist phänomenal gut und vielfältig, der Frühstücksbereich räumlich sehr großzügig ausgestattet,

Historische Einrichtung ist kombiniert mit moderner Ausstattung. Die Ausstattung ist qualitativ sehr gediegen und hochwertig. Am Vormittag meiner Abreise war das Servicepersonal (Reinigung) auf meiner Etage unterwegs und checkte alle Zimmer nach diversen Kriterien, was einen häufigen Wechsel der Zimmer notwendig machte. Der automatische Schließmechanismus der Zimmertüren schließt die Türen mit einem doch recht gut hörbaren, tendenziell unangenehmen Klackgeräusch. Dieses Geräusch war z.B. auch intensiv zu hören bei der Reinigung der Zimmer in meinem Gang am Nachmittag des Vortags. Das ist meine persönliche Empfindung, andere Gäste mögen das anders bewerten. Aber, der entspannte Aufenthalt in meinem Zimmer war dadurch doch erheblich gestört.

In der großen Halle des Eingangsbereichs fehlen aus meiner Sicht Sitzmöbel, es sind nur sehr wenige vorhanden.
