A very good, clean hotel in a good location.
Pros:

We stayed at Le Méridien from 6 May to 10 May. Contrary to all the negative reviews, I have to say that the hotel excelled in terms of staff, breakfast, comfort, location, and so on. The staff were always on hand to offer advice and assistance, at any time of day. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The facilities on the hotel grounds are excellent, both in terms of activities – such as the well-equipped gym, the heated indoor pool, and the very beautiful private beach – and the overall comfort. The location is perfectly reasonable, being a leisurely 15–20-minute walk to the casino, which means you have more peace and quiet in the evenings. The cleanliness, which was consistently very good in all rooms, is absolutely commendable. Yes, the fittings in the rooms are perhaps a bit dated, but by no means unclean or shabby. One thing that could perhaps be improved is the Wi-Fi connection in the rooms; unfortunately, it’s often not strong enough for a laptop to get certain tasks done. But as I said, these are minor points that are certainly outweighed by all the other positives. Next year we’ll be holidaying in Monaco again and will definitely be staying at Le Méridien once more.
