Took me a minute to figure out how the lamp worked
The staff are wonderful people. The service was great and everyone who works there seems to go above and beyond.
The walls between rooms are a little thinner than we would have liked but it is an older property, much like all the hotels in Jasper.
Clean and friendly
very clean, very friendly staff
parking is difficult to find on busy nights
Lots of facilities, multiple indoor and outdoor hot tubs, saunas. Nice staff.
Lights and some interior decor was quite broken. Was told that I couldn’t use the block heater plugin to slow charge my car because it will “ruin my car”. Other hotels (Lobstick) have no issues with this. And this is important to me. People started their gas cars with exhaust facing rooms polluting the inside air. Have signs to indicate which way cars should park and why.
I liked the fact that the hotel has a lot of water activities such as a sauna, a swimming pool, and a hot tub.
We stayed for two nights as a family of four, and we were given only one bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and one bar of soap. Only after contacting reception did they give us several more shampoos and conditioners, but no soap. The hotel also has very poor soundproofing, and someone was constantly smoking cigarettes in the hallway, and the smoke was seeping into the room.
Clean, very good value, and easy walking distance to town.
Nothing to dislike
We were upgraded to a bigger room to make sure my mother was comfortable. Thank you so much for taking care of us :)
Air filters haven’t been cleaned in years, beds worn,
Noisy families. Sounds like the running of the bulls. Never again. On the upside, front desk staff are polite and helpful. Rooms are clean and bed is comfy. All good things aside, I will never return because you can hear every sound from rooms beside, above and below. Disappointing
Neg: Alot of young noisy people and a lot of local construction workers look like they're staying here. Yelling at all hours and sounds like they're partying. Super annoying from 9pm onwards. Could smell weed in our room because someone was smoking a few doors down along the walkway.
Outside appearance looks 80's and dated.
Pos: inside the rooms are better than expected. Clean, doesn't smell, comfy beds and linens and good pillows.
Overall, would never stay here again. Too many riff raff hanging around.
Good location!
Pools closed at 10, would have liked it to below a little later for the late comers.
The bed was extremely comfortable. Staff and facilities were good.
Outdoor hot tubs were inconvenient to access, so we did not use them.
N/a
The bed and towels.
I had a great experience with the manager Jennifer.
I wasn't satisfied with my trip 2 weeks befor and she made sure to give me some perks and a free room upgrade.
She made sure we were , warm comfortable.
I would highly recommend the tonquin in to any couples that are planning a snowboard trip in jasper.

The bed was small
