The Ocean Beach Hotel & Spa has a solar heated outdoor pool. During the winter months this is closed but guests are welcome to use the indoor pool sauna and mini gym in the Suncliff Hotel which is directly next door. Please note that restricted opening hours and age limitations apply for the outdoor pools.
If dinner is not requested upon booking then there will be an extra charge in addition to the stated amount.
Please note that onsite parking is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis and chargeable at £12.00 per car per night. Street parking on the seafront is available via pay and display machines. It is not possible to reserve parking prior to arrival.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by Central Reservations. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
For all payments made and booking types the card holder must be present on check in and the same card must be presented for a security swipe via chip and pin on arrival, failure to provide the same card will result in the payment being refunded to the original card and an alternative payment method requested before check in will be permitted. The property reserves the right to charge bookings in full up to 48 hours prior to arrival during weekends and peak times regardless of reservation policies.
Please note only one small dog (under 10 Kg) is allowed per room, at an extra fee of GBP 20 per night. Please note dogs are not allowed in the common areas, with the exception of guide dogs. Please note that cats or any other type of pets cannot be accommodated at this property.
At least one guest per room must be over 18 years of age, minors are not permitted in their own accommodations without prior consent of the hotel.
Please ensure the correct occupancies are selected on booking, failure to do so may result in your check in being refused. Identification will be required for age verification purposes.
All bookings of 6 or more rooms booked together will be treated as group bookings as per Oceana Hotels’ policy. Group bookings will be contacted within 7 days of making the reservation and will be treated as advance purchase bookings. The full nonrefundable payment will be required within 7 days of the reservation being made, no cancelations, modifications or refunds will be permitted for any group bookings. These group terms and conditions override any rate policy that has been booked. In case of payments not received within 7 days of the booking being made, the Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking without any liability or further communication.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Absolutely nothing I’m very upset with how I’ve been treated, I arrived at the property as a lone female for work. Absolutely disgusted with the state on the property I will be writing a massive complaint . When I arrived it looked nothing like the pictures. I went to my room it beyond dirty. The carpets had things growing off it the walls was covered in what looked to be human waste no aircon radiators hanging off the walls wholes in the walls bed was dirty and hard I walked in and walked out to my car in tears as I paid nearly 200 for two nights. Asked reception if I can cancel and have a refund I was told no they could only give me a new room. I spoke with booking . Com apparently nothing can do was I was stuck in an unsafe hotel with druggies drug dealers and prostitution happening I had zero money and had to go to work so there was no alternative. I spoke with the manager she was so rude she told me the pictures was taking over 10 years ago so of course it would be different which is false advertising and that’s it’s not a four star hotel what do I expect; they had no staff covering the nights the on call number didn’t work as a lady was locked out all night and had to sleep outside it’s a dangerous place to stay. Avoid at all cost

We didn't like the room; it was old and smelled musty. The windows were terrible—cracked, with peeling paint and frames in bad shape, and there was trash visible outside them. The furniture was awful; there were no proper wardrobes—just a bare unit that looked like a nightstand shell. It was a very uncomfortable room, and the smell was unpleasant.
I’m very sorry to complain, but we went to the reception and spoke to a manager—I don’t know his name, but he was a Black man—and he was very rude to us. Later, a young guy came over; we explained the whole situation—that I couldn't stay in that room because both my husband and I are disabled and we had come there to relax. They did change our room the next day. We had paid for breakfast and dinner; we had no complaints about breakfast, but dinner was a huge problem. They didn't offer us a choice—they just served us pasta. I had paid for the stay, so I expected to be given a menu and allowed to order what I wanted, but that didn't happen. Also, we wanted to have a beer, but the machine wasn't working, and no one provided us with water. There weren't even any toothbrushes in the room; the whole situation was terrible.365 rum

No draught beers well I was there
The views were amazing and the staff were polite ,however some were not very helpful .The room was comfortable and clean.
Access was awful, paid £12 a day for parking but couldn't get space in car park so ended up paying twice.Pool was full of pigeons and poo so wouldn't recommend anyone goes in it.Food and drinks menu was limited and only advice was go next door,however as a disabled person thus was not an option .
We liked the location and views and the cleanliness of the room etc.
The hotel was lovely the only thing was our shower it trickled out and even after we had the receptionist have a look. It still didn't make a difference, this also made us miss a booking for dinner as we was far too late after trying to get clean from a busy day...
Nice staff
It was nice but I was not happy to receive parking tickets from Parking Eye for my car because I had paid for parking and registered my car for the duration of my stay at the hotel.
