Pour information, il y a une fuite au plafond et il y a de l'eau dans la chambre, sur le lit et la moquette.
Good location to see various parts of the county we wanted to go to.
Large, light and clean room. No frills, and quite basic, but excellent value for money.
It was unfortunate that there was no WiFi on our stay (they said it was in the process of being sorted), and the mobile signal was not good.
Although dated, the room was rather comfortable. It was spacious, clean (as was the bathroom) and handy for a two night stay for a wedding.
Arrived on time but food wasn’t served - we were told as the bar was busy, the kitchen wasn’t open. There were maybe 8-10 customers in there. We were sent to a pub down the road (which is ok).
Breakfast was out of date - cereals. Toaster but no bread. It was laid out the night before so wasn’t fresh.
Garden needs some TLC.
Timings don’t match online to what staff were saying.
When we arrived back from the wedding at 23:20, the main entrance was shut, but it was opened by a lady in pyjamas and the pub smelt of cannabis. We could smell this in our room.
There are no staff to discuss any issues with in the morning.
Staff was friendly, shown me to my room. Room was alot bigger than expected. Nice view. Great Facilities. Tea/coffee 24/7. Parking.
Didn't serve main meals but local restaurants near by so not a massive issue.
The staff were lovely and helpful, and the room was big and clean.
There was no WiFi so the TV wasn't an option and no ariel so we had no form off entertainment to watch.which we always chose our stays for having TV etc, and was very disappointed, also wallpaper was coming off walls in areas, which didn't affect us but didn't look great, no bin in main room.
Room was comfortable and spacious, plenty of tea and coffee making supplies. Breakfast was help yourself but there was enough to choose from and well supplied.
Didn't really see any staff due to staffing sickness problems. No TV programmes! Not even terrestrial and no wifi.
The new owner was friendly
The entire property had a noticeable smell of dogs. While we are dog lovers ourselves, the odour was quite strong throughout the premises.
The website advertises fresh food; however, this was not available during our stay. The breakfast selection was extremely limited and did not match the description provided online.
The bedroom was clean, but the bed was very old and made loud creaking noises with even slight movement. The bathroom is in need of refurbishment. The shower had very poor water pressure, and the sink was faulty, causing water to spray out at high pressure, making it difficult to wash your face or brush your teeth without getting wet.
The television was not working, and there was no Wi-Fi available to use, despite this being advertised.
Overall, the property felt very dated and in need of significant refurbishment. It looked nothing like the photos on the website, and several advertised facilities and services were either unavailable or did not meet the descriptions provided.
Paying £100 per night felt excessive considering the actual standard of the accommodation. Based on our experience, we believe the property offers closer to £50-per-night value in its current condition. We felt misled by the online advertising and were very disappointed with our stay.
Location
We were trying to get help where you park , we booked bed & breakfast but there wasn't a breakfast
We had the continental breakfast that was included in the price, self service and lots of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The bed was compy
The breakfast not enough cups out or spoons to eat your breakfast with and didnt leave a new toliet roll so ran out
The room was spacious. Hot shower.
1) No meals as it was too hot to run the kitchen. Okay, I went elsewhere but a heads up would have been appreciated.
2) Woken up at 2am by drunken England fans in the back yard. Lots of noise and expletives - doesn't promote a family friendly atmosphere.
3) Nobody around when I checked out 07:45 so no breakfast which was supposed to be included in the price.
4) Tea and coffee in the room but no milk.
The staff very nice
It was rough round the edges continental breakfast not good , shower not good either cold or too hot could not regulate
Great location & such friendly staff.
The room layout was lovely , the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
