Decent place to stay in a very expensive area for less.
Pros:

Liked the proximity to restaurants and shopping. Free shuttles. Easy parking. Easy to get to the room even though it’s a large hotel. Suites are spacious. The hot tub is nice. I like that when I asked for a room on the south side, my request was granted without drama.

Cons:

The decor shows its age. The staff is not too friendly. I didn’t get that welcoming feeling. The air conditioner was too loud, but I was glad to have it since it was unusually hot outside.

Excelente ubicación y precio
Pros:

La ubicación es perfecta para llegar a Vail y Beaver Creek, los precios son bastante accesibles, las instalaciones un poco antiguas, pero cumple como un hospedaje para esquiar a un excelente precio. las habitaciones amplias y en nuestro caso tenía cocineta.

Cons:

Lo unico que debería de tener más elevadores, no lo encontramos y subimos y bajamos las maletas por escalera. Pero en general cumple!

Good rooms, staff was a bit of a turn off
Pros:

Decent price for the Vail area (we stayed off-season though) and good location. Having a kitchenette was great. We enjoyed the balcony despite it overlooking the parking lot. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The check in staff was not friendly, they were more interested in making sure you knew about all the extra fees than making sure you were set, for example they didn't bother to tell us how to log in on the internet.
We stayed off-season so the place was pretty empty, but I suspect it gets really loud due to the central "forum" outside the rooms

Decayendo cada temporada un poco más
Pros:

Lo mejor del Christie que conozco hace años, es la ubicación centralísima. El shuttle a Beaver Creek tiene parada en la puerta del lodge. Tiendas, supermercado y restaurantes a un par de cuadras. El shuttle para ir a Vail a tres cuadras. Por las tardes se agradece el hot tube y la piscina algo más fresca. Aunque me dieron este año una habitación con pasillos sin escalas, sí puede ser un martirio cuando te tocan esas habitaciones que para llegar tienes que subir y bajar escalas.

Cons:

El aseos es paupérrimo. Ha venido decayendo en los últimos años y ahora ya es fatal. Las mucamas no limpian casi nada. Hay que llegar a quitar el polvo de los muebles porque por ahí no pasa paño. Los muebles de la cocina están sucios, no los limpian y el baño apenas.
Lo que son las camas, es un desastre. Se desarma todo. No tienen sábanas bajeras elasticadas y las mucamas no saben doblar la sábana para que no se te salga la sábana en el momento en que vas a sacar la colcha. Por favor: si me piden la próxima vez le hago un curso a las mucamas para que sepan cómo se hace de verdad una cama.

It was fine. There was a voice like dripping for hours but maintenance guy Bill found the problem and corrected it.

La ubicación es fabulosa. El free ride pasa por la puerta y te deja en la puerta. El personal muy amable y dispuesto. Lastima que la piscina no funciona en invierno. Tener un rental, restaurant, lavandería dentro es genial.
