Struttura a pochi passi dalla metro
Pulizia non all’altezza
The reception staff Sara was the best! She checked us in and out and was just perfect!
The carpets need a clean
La propreté, proche du métro
Le lit était dur. Mais c’est le pire qu’on puisse dire
The cleaning service was poor
Unworthy
Very nice, clean and comfortable, especially in the hot weather the AC works very well . The staff were very accommodating with a positive attitude! Wilk definitely be staying again. The hotel is beautiful and the food is really good too
Sadly, there was nothing that could redeem this visit, apart from the fact that it was next door to where I was working the next day. I have travelled the world in my line of work, and this has been one of the worst (in fact, it might even be the worst) hotel stay I have had. Also bear in mind this is a Novotel, not a Travelodge or a Premier Inn. They should know better.
Upon arrival, the room was sweltering hot. A facilities team were working through EVERY room as the AC was NOT working for the whole hotel, on one of the hottest days of the year to date. I intended to work/eat in my room that evening. I looked for a room service menu. There wasn't one. After being hung up on THREE times by room service on the room phone, I contacted reception who suggested I went downstairs to talk to them. I was told that they don't have room service menus in the room due to sustainability (allegedly) and I had to place my order at reception, which I did, including a glass of wine. I was then offered a paltry free drink voucher which I HAD to use at the bar, not on my room service order (go figure). When the woman I was talking to left to go to the kitchen to place my room service order, another member of staff told me that there SHOULD have been a menu in my room.
I went over to the tiny bar in the reception area. There were six people in the bar, and three at the bar awaiting drinks. A total of nine people. There was no-one behind the bar at this point. I asked the three men at the bar if they had been served yet. They told me they had been waiting about 15 minutes for someone to appear. The barman then did appear with drinks for the six sitting down, with numerous errors in their order. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I gave up and headed back to my room, minus my free drink.
To give an idea of times, I went down to reception at approximately 8.30pm to place my food order. I finally got my food at 9.40pm. Not quite when I was hoping to eat. I was not able to get much work done either, as the room was so hot. I had been told by reception to open my window. I called reception again at about 10pm about the heat. The same woman answered the phone and promised me a facilities engineer would attend. He did, with a fan. He also told me that I should NOT have had my window open to allow the system to work.
