The bed was comfortable. Parking was good

Cons:

The staff were either miserable or rude. The elevator feels like it is about to expire. The breakfast was disgusting, and all crockery was disposable which feels very wasteful. The beds are so high you need a step ladder. Very expensive for a dated and miserable hotel.

Comfortable, accommodating, very polite staff!
Pros:

I liked how even though it was close to the freeway it was still pretty calm and quiet. The breakfast was quite nice too! Very lovely staff.

Cons:

We found a dead bug on our carpet.

Inclement weather

After driving 16 hours through stormy weather and totally exhausted I was not able to check in or be issued key because of computer issues and after a few hours I had to persuade manager to talk to housekeeping to find empty room and let us in with facility pass key. Staff needs to have better training or available leadership to address unexpected difficulties for guests. Elevator was out of service
Visibly dirty edges, corners of floor and bathtub
Cracked sink, no refrigerator, dirty windows. Have not been compensated with discounted rate promised for inconvenience. I have stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton in other places many times and have always been pleased by your rooms.

ISO quality sleep
Pros:

I recently stayed at a Hampton Inn in another city and said never again - but only because of the ridiculously hard bed. But this one had good reviews, so I figured why not try it. Here we go:

Pros: large room, mini fridge, safe area, clean, great location, nice complimentary breakfast with hot and cold options, friendly staff, room smells nice/neutral - no strong odors like they're trying to hide something

Cons: I still don't like the bed. It is not rock hard but springy. I had such trouble falling asleep and I woke up with a tweaked back. Low quality mattress. I specifically booked a room with a microwave and mini fridge - no microwave. No channel guide/list of channels/menu on the TV itself - first world problem, I know, but hey this is an honest review. I do not like the barn door bathroom trend. Water that came out of the shower had a unpleasant odor. The plugs attached to the bedside tables are useless - my charger fell out of every single one. I ended up unplugging something behind the bed so that I could charge my phone nearby.

Overall, I won't be back. I can overlook all of the cons except for the crappy mattress. I'm too middle aged to not have quality sleep!
