Ma Doo Bua Phuket (มาดูบัวภูเก็ต)

Amazing place to stay with excellent service. The food was delicious and cocktails ahd a great local twist. The beds were a little hard but otherwise thw rooms were great.

i stayed one night and it was very lovely. i went alone to the cafe, and a staff member was kind enough to offer to take a picture of me in front of the giant lily pads :)

Not like the pictures but not bad so many mosquitos and bugs like anywhere else. Stored luggage before check in. I came at 11 am with 3 people I told them were going out to eat when we come back it will be just two people woman kept hounding and carrying on about two people only that was annoying maybe she didn’t understand because of language barrier so I remained nice. But be aware they only allow the amount of people for said room. We did the photoshoot they constantly remind you the time. Man took photos with my eyes closed didn’t accommodate me for them. If you eat at the cafe don’t order until you’re ready to eat there are geckos flys and other things that will be on your way. Hotel has a cash 500 bhat deposit you get back if everything is ok. They physically go out and check the room before you check out. Complimentary water, slippers, bug spray. They’re nice just follow the rules as instructed.

They want you to have clean sheet back as they leave even after you stay 5 day . They charge you 5000 for it . Bugs are everywhere the worst is the mosquito and fly in your room . They don’t help with it .

The only reason people stay is the lotus for pictures

Really enjoyed our stay here.
You are however a little out of the way but on the plus side close to banana beach and naithon beach, bang tao market with taxi rides.
Our room was fantastic and really clean and staff were lovely.
Ma doo bua is very popular with the influencers which arrive for the photos with the lilly pads. We had a nice advantage of being able to access the area for photos before it opened as we were staying there.
The only reason I didn't give five stars was because the pool was in need of some care.
Lots of tiles missing and generally needs some rime spend on making that area as nice as the rest of rhe accommodation.
Also the safes don't work but they give you a key instead for the safe.
Overall we would book again.

In the picture it’s was a really nice room but they gave us bad room…. We paid $170 USD for two days stay and it’s was not worth it. Food were very expensive and quantity was so little. We had to wait for hours to talk to one staff.

Everybody who left a bad review are hating an liars I was greeted with a warm welcome the view are beautiful they have fresh hot breakfast buffet starts at 6am to 9am my house was beautiful next to the pool an leaf Lilly’s the staff was wonderful an very patient I had an wonder massage they fix very nice drinks everything was wonderful come get your own view I enjoyed the video shoot with the Lilly’s everything was great

Close to a lot of activities

The cafe was pretty however really expensive and was the only option in the area if you didn’t have transport. Lots of influencers posing the entire time so hard to just enjoy the surroundings as the view is always blocked anyway.

The bed was rock hard, and the shower was missing part of its base so water just leaked everywhere and flooded the bathroom.

The accomodation is actually seperate across the road from the views it shows on the images, and the staff didn’t help or explain accessing the pool or resort facilities as they were locked up with fencing surrounding.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere so really inconvenient if you’re wanting to explore any other areas of Phuket.

No gluten free options and a convenience store is over a km walk away for some other options if this concerns you.

Restaurant is only open until 9pm, food was not that good anyway. Breakfast (although lots of food) was not tasty. Beds were rock hard. Staff did not speak english at all and were rude! The only nice thing about this hotel is the lily pads on the pond!

Nice staff and good rooms. Only things are many mosquitoes and the location is far away from main attractions.

Friendly and professional staffs. Cafe and spa were legit. Overall experience was great

Nice place to stay and beautiful place to do a photoshoot but pretty far from other places

It’s a nice concept but interior needs a little upkeep. Full of mozzies so beware. The toilet is very run down n shower water is a little brownish at first. Cars n motorcycles moving sounds loud n clear. Ask to move to interior facing unit, was refused stating that have reservations already, I stayed for 3 nights but didn’t see anyone check in. I will never stay there again. The only bonus is decent breakfast that I paid for
