Had room upgrade so room was nice hotel it self was ok just having to pay £24 for a night parking even being disabled was abit steep an also £10 each per person for swimming should be included in price food wasn’t best either so overall probably wudnt stay here again
Excellent hotel with fantastic facilities right in the middle of Cardiff
It was very clean and accommodating. The bathroom was clean and the bed was beautiful and very comfy. It was a very good suite. We had pretty much everything in there so we're very happy with that
There was nothing about our suites that we didn't like . It was just the fact that we weren't told beforehand that there is an extra charge for the swimming pool which is £10 per person. The only thing we seen on the website or in our email was that the pool is open to all staying residents and the fact that we woke up and were ready for the pool we went downstairs and we found out you had to pay £10 per person was just a bit shocking because we had paid so much money and on top of it we had to pay for the parking which shouldn't have been the cost but everywhere is different I understand but based on how much money we spent we paid £260 for the room for two suites and the least they could've done was let us use the swimming pool and have free parking. It was only one night
Spacious suite, decent breakfast
Extortionate parking charge, room wasn’t the cleanest, staff weren’t overly friendly or helpful, paid £10 each to use the spa facilities in the evening only to have to leave after 30 mins because of the noise level and behaviour of children that had been allowed.
Great location to city centre and Cardiff Bay
The spa area really needs some TLC, things are looking dated with many areas poolside having missing tiles. The actual pool also had damaged tiles on the floor causing me to injure my foot.
Nice location, simple check-in experience
One of 3 rooms we booked had some issues with taps in shower. And there was a gap in communication between kitchen and reception - basically, we booked breakfast at 11pm, and by 9am next day kitchen was not aware that we did so. However, the stuff were able to resolve this quickly enough.

Unfortunately the check in member of staff wasn’t friendly and we seemed to be an inconvenience to her on what should of been a easy and simple check in

You have to pay extra for using the swimming pool and spa. This is unacceptable - when paying a premium rate for a hotel with these facilities, it is expected that it is included. It is also terrible practice not to fully articulate that this is going to be an extra charge at the time of booking. I would not have booked this hotel if I had realised. It ruined out stay as I couldn't afford this extra payment for everyone in our party.
