The FAQ indicated that access to the pool was included; however, on arrival we were informed there is an additional charge of £10 per person. I raised this with staff and suggested that the information on Booking.com be updated to reflect the correct policy, but this did not appear to be taken on board. The response from staff felt somewhat dismissive, as though I was seeking a free extra, when in fact I had checked the information in advance and was simply expecting it to be accurate. This made the situation feel uncomfortable, as the concern was about clarity and transparency rather than the cost itself.

Have stayed here before a while ago and wasn’t charged extras to use pool or for parking.
The bar closed earlier than advertised and no explanation when staff where asked why

The lights had a few dirt marks on but the room was very clean

Tv did not work, heating did not work

Shower was noisy, we could hear the lifts & the room was cold even though we turned the heating up.

Rooms dated, tv too small for the size of the room, bar was shut before it was due to closed. Too much light came through under door - need a excluder. Heating didn’t work - only had 1 portable heater for large room.

The springs in the bed in the first bedroom we were given had broken and there was a very big'dip' in the bed. We were allocated another room when I complained.
The cooked English breakfast was cold. There was no decaffeinated coffee, no orange juice and the pain au chocolate ran out an hour before the close of service.

Zimmer war recht gross für 2 personen mit bad und dusche, jedoch funktionierte die heizung nicht. Das Personal war mir nicht zuvorkommend musste drei mal nachhacken bis sie mir einen kleinen Heizkörper in das grosse Zimmer brachten. Als ich abends ins Zimmer kam war das Zimmer immernoch eiskalt. Danach forderte ich wieder mehr heizkörper und erst dann haben sie mir 3-4 gebracht. Also mit der Dame mit der ich tagsüber geredet habe gar nicht zuvorkommend hatte den Anschein dass sie mich nur los haben will keine hilfsbereitschaft. Am Abend der Herr hat sich gleich gekümmert. Aber finde es beschämend das man so viel zahlt und sich dann nicht kümmert wenn die Gäste kommen und das Zimmer eiskalt ist.

Room was located at the back of the lifts, it was like sleeping under an airport flight path, kept me awake most of the night. Room was freezing cold, no heat came out of the ceiling temperature system, which also sounded like a wind tunnel even on a low speed. 20 year old telly with limited capability. £170 for a Room plus £24 for onsite parking to get no sleep and be freezing cold, absolutely disgusting, got up and left at 5am

The bed was uncomfortable and I was cold overnight. The carpet was stained. I thought the hotel was incredibly overpriced. The central location was what I wanted but I was expecting a bit more luxury due to the price that I paid. It was not worth £180 for the night.

Host at entrance to breakfast didn't understand about gluten free/coealic when mentioning.
Bar wasn't well stocked. Example being some beer pumps not working and no GF beer available, minimal choice of ciders.
