All good but don’t drink the coffee
Pros:

Breakfast was good apart from the coffee which was unbelievably bad. It tasted as if it was burnt - couldn’t even drink it.

Great location. We were travelling on a ferry the following day so perfect location. Near to restaurants and shops .

Cons:

Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working. It was an extremely hot weekend .

Excellent location
Good breakfast

Cons:

No air con, stayed aug 25 told a/C was down and waiting for a part, offered us we could book somewhere else. No intention to fix now. Very low cold water pressure in bathroom hense hot shower.

Sehr nettes Personal, sehr gut gelegen, um Portsmouth, hier insbersondere, um das historische Schiffsmuseum anzusehen.

Nur 10 min. Fußweg. Große, sichere Tiefgarage.

Fantastic position hotel but should have been more about AC told way long
Pros:

Hotel was very nice and have visited before but a few years ago

Cons:

Just before we were going were told that the AC was not working but ice cream and tinned water was available to have but then told that the problem was from March 2026 no AC was working and would have changed my hotel booking

A real shame as we love our stays here.

The location is great.

Really sadly this is the first bad experience we have had as we stay here twice a year. We received a message from the hotel to say their air con was not working however there would be a fan in the room. Upon arrival,at the hotel the receptionist on duty was busy checking in another resident and called her colleague to help. This colleague responded with ‘what?’ And upon seeing us waiting ‘oh’. She then proceeded to check us in. The windows in our room did not open and when we brought this up we were told they were locked however other rooms could clearly open theirs as we saw whilst out in the evening. We asked later if we could change rooms and were told no there are only twins left - this was doubtful. Cans of cold water were provided due to heatwave.
