Average. Not bad, but not great.
Pros:

Room was nice, and clean, staff was nice, and as accommodating as possible, and the breakfast was good.

Cons:

The AC wasn’t working while I was there, normally probably not an issue, but it was in the middle of a heatwave. The television in the room also didn’t work, and there were no electrical outlets by the bed, only USB, so I had to plug in my phone across the room.

Very comfortable stay
Pros:

Good location. I gave 3 out of 4 for facilities as water was draining very slowly in the bathroom and at some point cause flooding into the bedroom.I let the reception desk know and they said they'll inform maintenance.
Hope it's fixed for the next guests.

Perfect stay
Pros:

Excellent location. Get your car park ticket validated at reception and you have free parking for 24 hours. Greeted by Sam on reception and he offered exceptional customer service. 10/10!

Cons:

There was no air-conditioning as it is undergoing a refurb. However, we were offered mineral water (cold) and an ice cream as compensation which was a nice touch. There was a fan in the room and we had a room with an open window and to be honest I didn’t notice the fact that it wasn’t air-conditioned.

Our stay
Pros:

I love the proximity to the shops and restaurants. My family were visiting Portsmouth as its my final few weeks at the University and it was so lovely to put them up in such a nice hotel. They had a great time and the staff were super kind to us

Cons:

Unfortunately we did have a minor issue where someone slipped over in the shower due to water not draining while they were getting ready. They cut their leg open on the disability chair.
