Det store med dette hotellet var beliggenheten og rommet som hadde en fabelaktig view rett ut i havnen til yachtene. Vinduet er av type karnapp så dette satte spesielt min sønn pris på. Han flyttet sengen helt til vindu og kikket på yachtene hele kvelden. Rommet hadde 2 enkeltsenger, romslige senger og gode. Rommet var vel 50kvm, betalte mye for dette pr natt men det var ingen suite. Badet var stort, badekar og separat dusj, avlukke til toalett og bide. Boblebad men veldig lavt trykk i dysene. Fin topp etasje med nydelig utsikt over havnen.

Cons:

Hotellet bærer preg av å være gammelt, beholdt gammel stil utvendig og innvendig, eldre marmor på badet. Litt slitte tepper. TV virket umoderne, kunne ikke koble til egen enhet, fjernkontroll fra 1990. De tjener mye penger på hotellet med den beliggenheten og forventet egentlig en mye mer lukseriøs innvendig stil, iallefall til den prisen som var 3 x mer enn vanlige dobbeltrom utenfor Monaco, vi er jo i billion dollar land liksom. Nå er det gjerne høysesong priser men allikevel. Frokost var ok, til buffet å være nådde den ikke opp med flere andre 4-5 stjerners hoteller som også har mye lavere rom pris. Det var mangel i utvalg, varm melk til frokost blandingen og kun 1 type. Det var kun 1 dame som gjorde alt arbeidet så godt hun kunne. Jeg betalte for frokost rett over 900kr for 2 som er veldig dyr frokost og langt fra verdt pengene desverre. Vær obs, velger du oppholdet MED frokost blir det enda dyrere. Det blir nok å teste andre hoteller neste gang i Monaco.

Pros:

Sehr schönes Hotel in hervorragender Lage direkt am Port Hercule. Besonders praktisch sind die beiden Ausgänge: Unten gelangt man direkt zum Hafen, oben über den Ausgang im 6. Stock in wenigen Minuten zum Casino und ins Zentrum. Der Check-in war freundlich und unkompliziert. Obwohl wir schon am Vormittag angekommen sind, konnten wir unser Gepäck problemlos bis zur Fertigstellung des Zimmers einlagern. Das WLAN funktionierte während des gesamten Aufenthalts einwandfrei.

Unsere Junior Suite war großzügig geschnitten, sauber und hatte einen schönen Blick auf den Yachthafen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Einrichtung ist zwar nicht mehr ganz neu und wirkt stellenweise etwas abgewohnt, technisch hat jedoch alles einwandfrei funktioniert.

Das Frühstück kann optional hinzugebucht werden und kostet 45 Euro pro Person. Wir haben es nicht genutzt. Das Hotel verfügt außerdem über ein Restaurant auf der Dachterrasse. Am Abend war es komplett ausgebucht. Wer dort essen möchte, sollte daher rechtzeitig einen Tisch reservieren.

Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und würden das Port Palace Hotel aufgrund der ausgezeichneten Lage jederzeit wieder buchen.
