Avoid this place. Unsanitary. Falling apart. Stained bed sheets-- dirty? Or never changed? We did NOT stay the night and the Econo Lodge staff man said he would refund in full but nope, it's not happened. I lost $123.60 for booking 1 night in June 2026.
I've never before stayed in a hotel in my 40 years and needed to leave due to unsanitary conditions.
The first room had 3/4 curtains on the window. Everyone would be able to see in at night with the lights on! The vanity lights over the sink had missing bulbs. The fridge had sticker residue all over it-- like it was bought used and then the stickers pulled off, but the residue not removed. Sketchy room. Some deplorable furniture room items. We voiced our concerns and were moved to a 2nd room--- which had not enough towels and and who knows what 'stains' on the white bed sheets- see video. Gross. A tile in bathroom was loose and lacking mortar to hold it in place-- I could pick it up off the floor completely and it was as soon as you stepped into bathroom-- trip hazard if someone slipped on it. MIssing sink drain, nails not nailed into wall fully, bathroom hinges not proper.
I talked with the staff (a man) who assured a full refund when we said we're not staying the night-- gross sheets, etc. He refused to give me his name. Said they just bought the place and were fixing it up. Hmm... really?
He told me to call booking.com and have THEM initiate the refund and that he could not do the refund himself. Booking.com tells me THEY have my card # and so must initiate the refund on their end. So, he lied. Yes, I've contacted and emailed Econo. No reply, nobody answering their phone Booking.com my gave me $11.00 'credit' back for the 'inconvenience' and said Econo Lodge must do the rest. Which 6 days later hasn't happned.I will no longer use booking.

Booked because it had a pool that booking.com said was open during our stay. It was not.

Frigid cold water that I didn't check at 10:30pm at check in so when I discovered it at 7 am the following morning, the useless staff put blame on me. Dirty towel left in the room. No trash can...I had diaper wearing children and cats with a small travel litted box...am I supposed to put the garbage in the ice container, which makes me think I was a no go. Old stale cereal, a packet of oatmeal and a race to grab 1 of 4 yogurts in the fridge can barely count as a breakfast. I'm considering calling the health department. You should remove the option from your website. I did not use your service to book the hotel my family is staying in tonight because I have concerns about Booking.com's credibility.

Construction and painting blocked my door several times

They are doing major remodeling it was super dusty in the room could barely get to the room because people with latters in the way and looked like nothing really was done in the days we were there except more dust
