Excellent séjour !
Pros:

Nous avons été accueillis avec une telle gentillesse et chaleur par toute l’équipe ! L’hôtel comporte uniquement 8 chambres ce qui en fait un véritable cocon paisible. Nous avons pu dîner à l’hôtel malgré notre arrivée tardive, les plats sont délicieux et gargantuesques ! Le petit déjeuner est servi en parti sur buffet et sur commande, le tout inclus dans le prix. Cela vous garantit des produits de qualité!
Le coin extérieur est joliment aménagé, la patio vous propose un instant de détente avec thé, livres et jeux de société. Vue sur le lac magnifique avec de nombreux cygnes noirs.
Nous étions dans une chambre avec vue sur le lac.
Le lit est agréable, la salle de bain spacieuse avec grande douche et baignoire !
L’équipe est aux petits soins et avec un enthousiasme qui fait plaisir ! Toujours à l’écoute de nos envies ou prêt à faire les réservations pour nous. Selon les sorties ils vous feront même bénéficier de bons de réduction.
Un pincement au cœur en partant ! On se sent comme à la maison.

Le soir, comme partout dans la région, il faut fermer les fenêtres à cause des insectes envahissants.

Sehr netter und persönlicher Empfang.

Cons:

Es könnte an einigen Stellen modernisiert oder besser instand gehalten werden. Bsp. Zugang zum See über den Badesteg.Wirkte etwas marode.Auch keine Leiter vorhanden. Finde Schlüssl fürs Zimmer in der Preisklasse altmodisch,vielleicht gewollt aber unpraktisch.

Exceptional service and Beautiful Accommodations
Pros:

This hotel is beautiful! Their staff is very attentive and friendly. Star is wonderful! She always proactively checked on us and helped us when needed. I highly recommend this hotel not only for its beauty and comfort but for exceptional service from Star.

Lovely lodge, lovely staff
Pros:

This is a very pretty lodge, with gorgeous gardens and lovely views of the lake. Our room was very comfortable, and the heated bathroom floor was a nice touch in the cooler weather! Staff were all unfailingly friendly and helpful, and the food - both at breakfast and at dinner - was delicious. It’s a little out of town (about a 7 minute drive to central Rotorua) so you do need a car to get around. We only stayed two nights, but would happily do a longer stay.

Cons:

It is quite expensive, but seems to be about on par with other lakeside lodges in the area.

Lovely stay at the Black Swan
Pros:

It was such a treat to get to spend three nights at the Black Swan! It was very nice to have been upgraded to a lake view room, with a comfortable bed and peaceful view. We really enjoyed our interactions with all of the staff, particularly our conversations with the delightful Duty Manager Rajiv Shama. The grounds were lovely, breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for enjoying time in the Rotorua area.

Loved the Black Sean
Pros:

Excellent boutique hotel with friendly and hard working staff. Our room was large and comfortable, the grounds are lovely and peaceful, and we were delighted by the friendly and very accommodating staff. We highly recommend the Black Swan.
