Black Swan Lakeside Boutique Hotel

Die junge Frau Star (Stella 😉) an der Rezeption hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Sie hat uns alles über die gepflegte Anlage erklärt. Außerdem war sie mir eine große Hilfe bei der Suche nach meiner Halskette. Nochmals vielen Dank.
Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, mit Buffet und warmen Speisen, die auf Wunsch serviert werden.
Es gibt auch zwei Whirlpools in den sogenannten Grotten, die den Gästen zur Verfügung stehen, sowie einen kleinen Pool mit Liegestühlen.
Das Mitai Maori Village ist nur 5 Autominuten entfernt.

Amazing boutique venue on picturesque lakeside lot with black swans swimming along nearby! Easy drive into town and brilliant helpful staff. Breakfast and pool/gardens beautifully presented. Rooms well fitted with high end large bed and bathroom fitments. Chocolates and fruit at reception a bonus

Black Swan is in beautiful location and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Such a peaceful stay - despite the rain!- and the swans on the lake were graceful too. Can’t recommend this highly enough! A must have stop in beautiful Rotorua! Thanks Michele for going above and beyond in sorting our trips out too

Nous avons été accueillis avec une telle gentillesse et chaleur par toute l’équipe ! L’hôtel comporte uniquement 8 chambres ce qui en fait un véritable cocon paisible. Nous avons pu dîner à l’hôtel malgré notre arrivée tardive, les plats sont délicieux et gargantuesques ! Le petit déjeuner est servi en parti sur buffet et sur commande, le tout inclus dans le prix. Cela vous garantit des produits de qualité!
Le coin extérieur est joliment aménagé, la patio vous propose un instant de détente avec thé, livres et jeux de société. Vue sur le lac magnifique avec de nombreux cygnes noirs.
Nous étions dans une chambre avec vue sur le lac.
Le lit est agréable, la salle de bain spacieuse avec grande douche et baignoire !
L’équipe est aux petits soins et avec un enthousiasme qui fait plaisir ! Toujours à l’écoute de nos envies ou prêt à faire les réservations pour nous. Selon les sorties ils vous feront même bénéficier de bons de réduction.
Un pincement au cœur en partant ! On se sent comme à la maison.

Le soir, comme partout dans la région, il faut fermer les fenêtres à cause des insectes envahissants.

Perhaps the most peaceful hotel I have ever stayed in. The location on the lake is fantastic and it's soooo quiet. They upgraded me to room 4. It was huge with a breathtaking view of the lake. After being around a ton of peope in Rotorua this was PERFECT. The service was impeccable. The meals GREAT. It's a great retreat. You'll have to deal with lake flies.

Beautifully situated. The staff were lovely and really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Thanks to all- you were great! The room was good and the bathroom was great. The food was as good as you could get locally.

Really enjoyed our two night stay here - very comfortable room and lovely grounds, albeit we were unable to take much advantage of these due to the weather during our stay. The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet location outside Rotorua.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, particularly Star, who managed to arrange a hotel pick-up for us for one of our excursions, to which I'm not sure we were strictly entitled. The breakfasts and one dinner we had there were also superb. and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

This boutique hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are extremely helpful. they helped clear the confusion of our tour pick-up the following day. We rated our meal there as one of the best of our 3 week trip. Don't leave the hotel. The best food is right there! Everything on the menu was delicious according to us and the people sitting near us. the hot tub wasn't working when we were there, and it was too early in the season for the pool to be open, but the gardens and grounds were beautiful, and there were Black Swans right out in front of the parking area.

This hotel is beautiful! Their staff is very attentive and friendly. Star is wonderful! She always proactively checked on us and helped us when needed. I highly recommend this hotel not only for its beauty and comfort but for exceptional service from Star.
