Hôtel Barrière Le Grand Hôtel

The spa was very unprofessional. I was wearing a men’s bathing suit, but was turned away saying that it was not an actual bathing suit. I don’t know why they would expect a customer to lie about not wearing a bathing suit.

The Hotel is very well located. The SPA is fantastic. The restaurant is very good.
BUT, the rooms are run-down. The paint is old. The floor of the balcony is cracking. There is no showe. You need to sit on the bath tube to avoid spraying water everywhere. There is no bed light. There is no desk light. There is no charging station for Laptop and cell Phone.
Compared with the Hotel Barriere Deauville, this location needs some upgrades.

Superb hotel, exceptionally clean, room spacious and comfortable, friendly staff, good selection of food at breakfast, great location.

Distance importante pour prendre possession de notre chambre 236 surtout pour une personne de 97 ans à qui on a pas proposé de l’accompagner.
Le dîner était très quelconque nourriture pas fraîche.

Very well located, great property in front of the lake, very nice spa. The service is amazing and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Le seul problème c est qu on vous donne des entrées pour le Spa ou se trouve aussi la salle de sport et toute sortie est définitive. Donc si vous voulez faire du sport le matin et le SPA en fin de journée, soit vous y restez toutea journée soit vous ne pouvez plus y retourner. Seul problème.
Le personnel est top.

We spent the weekend at the barriers hotel it was not the first time for me.
My friend made the booking.
I was very surprised of how far we had to walk to be in our room.
I heard the hotel was in renovation but they put us in very old rooms!
With damaged white wall paper.
The room didn't even have a coffee machine for a 5 stars hotel in Enghien I don't understand.
Also the carpet in the corridor was old and not welcoming.
I spent myself some time in barriers hotel but I was in complete different room.
I am very disappointed.

Chambre manque de ménage toile d araignée partout ! Salle de bain des cheveux. Très decu du petit déjeuner très peu de choix pour le prix très décevant !!

L'extérieur de l'hotel mériterait d'être restauré mais l'intérieur est joli et confortable, la chambre était très agréable, et le service au 85 est juste parfait.
En revanche le petit déjeuner est une vraie déception: choix et qualité indigne d'un tel établissement surtout à ce prix, c'est dommage.
Enfin le Spa est vaste, bien équipé et agréable

Le seul point négatif c’est que l’espace aquatique n’était pas chauffé le jeudi 22 février. Heureusement le problème était résolu dès le lendemain.

Très agréable l'hôtel est joli même s'il faut un coup de jeune. Mais c'est surtout le personnel qui fait le séjour des gens adorables !

Really like the place, but (except for team at the restaurant, which is great!) could really be better on service (saying hi to customers, treating them fairly). I will come back as it is great and convenient but will lower expectations on that aspect

Hôtel un peu vieillot mais le service est bon et le restaurant est excellent. Le lieu est magnifique, juste près du lac d’Enghien.
