Pros:

The hotel was nice and comfortable, and Kimberly made our stay even better. She was friendly, professional, and always helpful, great service!

Would 100% stay here again.
Pros:

Loved the uniqueness and the location. The beds were super comfortable, and the curtains made the rooms very dark for great rest.

Cons:

I wish the bar area was open nightly.

A not very clean place...
Pros:

I think it is expensive for what you get in terms of cleaness.

Cons:

I asked to the host for printing 4 pages and she did not will to help me.

They have this sign at the room that says that the hotel is visited for many medical patients so if you want your room to be cleaned up, you have to ask for it before 11 am every day at the front desk.

The room wasn't really clean. See the pictures attached.

Breakfast very poor.

Hotel Ylem is the place where my family and I stay whenever we visit Houston.
Pros:

Excellent breakfasts. That is one of the additional bonuses of staying at Hotel Ylem!

Cons:

There is nothing that I can think of that could have been done better.

Great place to stay and clean!
Pros:

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The distance from the hotel to MD Anderson is not that far. We always stay at Hotel Ylem when I have appointments at MD Anderson.

You got what you paid for. My wife really chewed me out for booking a hotel like this.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and big.

Cons:

Hotel lobby was dark and gloomy. Musty smell in room, furniture was old and scuff. Can't believe the flat screen TV is not a smart & HD TV (there's still one exist). Air filter in bathroom needed to be cleaned, although the bathroom itself was quite good.

Pros:

The staff and proximity to the Medical Center was great.

Cons:

There was caution tape over the stairway. The room wasn't very clean, stains on the coverlet and sheets!
We were exhausted so we slept anyway.

Pros:

Very unique style! Very refreshing property to walk into.

Cons:

Stains on bed box and on towels. Also noises throughout the night of random thudding.

The blanket and towels were super thin! Couldn’t really sleep at night because it felt like the blanket was literally just a piece of bedsheet…It was so thin and uncomfortable

Fair place to stay for stadium events.
Pros:

The location to the stadium was excellent. Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Stairs in lobby and hall were dirty. Had to ask for towels and wash rags and provide the dirty ones to get the new ones. No bartender so bar is closed. The one night it was open very limited on selection of mixers. Seemed to run out of things like plain creamer and milk at the breakfast bar.

A decent stay with free parking for a great location.
Pros:

Room was spacious but if somewhat basic. Free parking and breakfast provided. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location was walkable to NRG Stadium. 10 minutes from medical district, museum areas.

Cons:

Room was a little sparse just one lamp, no clock, toilet paper didn't have a holder.
