Nicely located for visiting the Art Gallery and for the Central Railway Station
Pros:

The location is very convenient for the central railway station and for visiting Hamburg city centre, especially the Art Gallery.
Although it is quite close to the station, the area around is quite nice.

Lage ist der größte Vorteil
Pros:

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles in Ordnung, nichts kaputt oder verschlissen.
Dafür große Zimmer

Cons:

Bei Buchungen über Booking nervt, das man jedesmal seinen Ausweis vorzeigen muss.
Die Rechnungsadresse muss ich auch jedesmal neu diktieren.
Es gibt keine Bar, auch nichts um die Ecke.

Functional, but not comfortable.
Cons:

I booked the room because it was indicated that the hotel has airconditioning. With temperatures ~30 degrees this was key for me. However, the system in the room does not qualify as airconditioning at all and was not effective.

Eher durchschnittlich für ein Innenstadthotel zu teuer.
Pros:

Gute zentrale Lage.

Cons:

Man merkt deutlich, daß beim Frühstück spürbar gespart wird! Keine Trockenfrüchte, Kaffee nur noch Filterkaffee aus der Thermoskanne, kein frisch gemahlener Kaffe aus dem Automaten, nur noch drei verschiedene Marmeladen, kein Speck zum Rührei, weniger Brotsorten, also deutlich ausgedünntes Frühstück, und das für 20,-€ (nicht angemessen!) Auch beim Personal wurde deutlich gespart, schmutziges Geschirr bleibt sehr lange auf den Tischen stehen. Für 40 € haben meine Frau und ich schon opulenter gefrühstückt!
Insgesamt kein angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Cons:

Klimaanlage keine Funktion, laut Personal ein älteres Model. Über Nacht das Fenster offen jedoch ist die Hauptstraße genau vor dem Fenster.
Das war die schlechteste Nacht in Hamburg. Außentemperatur ca.28 Grad.
