Surprisingly pleasant
Pros:

Stayed here for 1 night. Staff were lovely, location was good, food in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast were surprisingly good. Overall a pleasant stay and we would stay here again

Cons:

Just needs a very good deep clean, especially the bathrooms and carpet’s throughout , but mainly the carpets

Recommended for a low cost night or two near Cambridge.
Pros:

A very good value stay near Cambridge which ncluded breakfast and reduced parking fee.

Cons:

Not a lot of choice for breakfast but it was included so probably value for money.

Pros:

Voor deze prijs echt een keurige en ruime kamer met (in mijn geval) leuk uitzicht. Fijne bedden, nette badkamer, koffie/thee/strijkplank op de kamer. Aardig personeel bij in- en uitchecken, behulpzaam bij het ontbijt.

Cons:

Ontbijtmogelijkheden als je glutenvrij moet eten.

Stay here for location, not the food
Pros:

The location is good for the Fulbourn Road side and the bedrooms and service are perfectly fine

Cons:

The food is pretty dire, both the limited evening menu and the synthetic breakfast, with lousy coffee. It is annoying that the breakfast must be included. I would much rather have £10 off and sort myself out for breakfast. I stay here for the location, but never eat here. HIE, for goodness sake, raise your food standards! The long range booking price is ok, the short range price can be very expensive for the standard of hotel.

Friendly, welcoming staff
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful, from Candice who welcomed us at Reception to the bar staff, waiters and cleaners. I cannot stress enough how lovely they all were.
The hotel was clean and tidy. We had a room with a wet room as my partner had been in hospital and this was spacious and well set out. We slept well. Convenient for Addenbrookes with parking attached to the hotel. Enjoyed breakfast. Had a tasty toasted sandwich one day but otherwise didn’t eat in hotel.

Cons:

The only negative I can think of is that the rooms aren’t very soundproof - there is a gap round the door. Most of the time this was fine as it was quiet, but we did have one set of “neighbours” that played music and then got up at 4am - that was our only disturbed night.
