Beautiful property with friendly, helpful staff. Room had a lovely view. They made the stay really special for my partner's birthday.

The staff was lovely; they went out of their way to make sure we could get into a room earlier than check-in, so that we could nap after an early flight. Amazing experience!
My poached eggs were solid and not runny!
The location was great, the staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were comfortably decorated and clean. Breakfast was served at reasonable times and curfew ensured restful sleep for all guests.
The climate control was set a little warm in the rooms and I was unsure how to adjust or if adjustments were possible. The reception was unmanned when I left early on my final morning and checking out was unclear, so I left my key on the desk. The booking was on the pricier side but the stay was very enjoyable and worth the cost.
Outstanding river and Cathedral views. Fantastic location. Hotel was excellent, clean comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful.
The staff were first class and could not do enough or us. The room was a little awkward to reach mainly due to the steps down into it as soon as you open the door but we managed. The view was ok if little obstructed by the roof equipment infant of us. However, they were a necessary function of the hotelman we quickly became used to it.
Breakfast was fine and the evening shuttle into and back from town worked well although the earlier finish of this service during the week needs to be highlighted much more. It's not far to walk as long as you do not have any difficulties in that area. Overall a very comfortable stay and we would certainly go back without any hesitation.
De locatie was goed, maar wel een eindje lopen van het stadscentrum. De kamer was groot, met ligbad en grote bedden. Het ontbijt was in buffetvorm, prima. Het personeel was erg aardig. Jammer dat je niet kon dineren in het hotel.

Beautiful hotel right on the ricer in Salisbury. The staff were really helpful as we arrived early in the morning and they kept our bags for the entire day while we toured the cathedral and Stonehenge.
Room had a beautiful view which we enjoyed during our brief visit.
Reasonably for minus one star is the shower is very small and somewhat difficult to manage. Bed was not the most comfortable and pillows are tired.
Overall a wonderful hotel and should we go back to Salisbury we will look to stay here again.

All well appointed and clean
There are wonderful pictures around the property - countryside, horse racing etc. Then soft porn magazine covers as posters in the gents toilet. So dated, not in keeping with the property and of course objectifies women. Completely incongruous with the property and current thinking around these issues.

Lovely hotel, good parking, surpassed expectations. Position to Salisbury town centre is excellent, all within 15 minute walk. Nice decor, very clean. Friendly, efficient staff. Excellent breakfast, produce fresh, prompt service. Although no evening meals, the hotel provides a free shuttle bus service into town until about 9.45 pm return. Bedroom very comfortable, tea & coffee etc and Air-conditioning. The lunch on the terrace overlooking the river and fields beyond looked very inviting complete with a nice surprise on the lawn! Would we stay there again? Absolutely.
Room was excellent and the view from the room was amazing.
