The hotel is in a great location next to the river and a 10 minute through to the centre. The hotel itself is very attractive looking and our room was a good size. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. A free subtitle bus to the centre was great as it was pouring down- free pick ups too!

On arrival the receptionist was engaging and helpful,providing a map of city and a printed list of nearby restaurants. The hotel provides a shuttle sevice into town. It was pouring with rain and the driver was kind enough to drop us to and then collect us from our chosen restaurant. The room was large and comfortable with a great view of the cathedral across the river. Although we had checked out we were allowed to leave the car in the car park for the day so we could walk into town to visit the attractions. Great service all round.

It was a beautiful setting and well furnished. It was comfy and decorated to a high standard.
A few little changes to the room would have made it perfect - hooks to hang coats as u go in and a shelf in the bathroom would have really been useful

The property was lovely, with a beautiful location and incredible views. The surroundings were peaceful and made the stay very enjoyable. The staff were polite and incredibly accommodating.
There was a large amount of damp on the windows which left the window sill soaking, and there was visible mould surrounding the area. I was also disappointed to receive two single beds instead of a double. Additionally, there were some black/brown marks on the mattress sheets.

We had a riverside view upgraded room and it was a great upgrade, breakfast was great hot & cold choice plus a bar in the evening, there is no evening meal but a free shuttle bus into town nice touch, hotel very clean lots of free parking staff were very friendly especially Freya, would definitely recommend this hotel & we will return in the summer.

Rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We requested rooms close together but were allocated one on the ground floor and one on the second floor. Actually this was fine. The ground floor room was perfect for my mother to avoid the stairs.
The free shuttle service provided to and from the city centre was excellent and much appreciated on a rainy night.

Great location for the center of town, which is walkable, but the hotel has a shuttle bus which is a great plus ( especially in the rain).
