Amazing staff - from cleaning to waiters to front desk; they’re all very accommodating and helpful. I felt very welcomed. Thank you Pestana people for your great service 🙏

Loved our stay

The hotel looks good in pictures but is quite dated. The AC and WiFi barely worked. The beds were hard as a rock. The bedding was dirty. Housekeeping did not replace the towels. Pool is small and crowded. I would not recommend

Some issues with the family room.
We specifically chose the hotel because of air conditioning but it didn’t work properly through our stay and temperature didn’t get below 27 in the room.
Shower was poor. Flow was poor and spray was inconsistent.
Phone in room didn’t work so back and for to reception (we were on second floor).
Only one chair on balcony. On day one chap came to give us some glasses (there was only one but said he didn’t have time to get a chair. Day two reception said there wasn’t a second chair for balcony in the hotel! They came to sort air on but didn’t.

Buffet breakfast was ok but queued

It was a nice property, clean and front desk staff was nice.

Staff very unfriendly, could get ice for water, restaurant and was a rip off.

A wonderful place to stay

No questions on overall stay.
Requested a better connection of the WiFi in my room 1025, I believe, and suggested better lighting on the entrance at night, twice. Thank you.

The hotel definitely needs some updating of the furniture and facilities.

I had a very pleasant stay. The staff (front desk, house keeping and especially at the breakfast buffet/restaurant) is amazing and very attentive. The location is well maintained and beautiful. I also enjoyed the large pool and spa area multiple times. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The staff were excellent. The breakfast was very good . The location 12 min from Sintra.

I did not like the fact that we had no control over the heating system, it was cold , and I could not turn up the heating. The staff told us it was controlled by management . Internet was a bit slow .

Perfect for overnight stay

Friendly staff with clean and relatively modern facilities

The hotel was quiet, clean, and safe. Staff were very friendly and helpful with getting around to the various attractions. The only issue we had was with the food for both breakfast and dinner. It was not worth the money. Taste was terrible. Food was cold or luke warm at best. Dinner options don't change for a month at a time and we're not good or tasty options. I would recommend this hotel, just opt out of the food options.

The hotel and its grounds were very nice and very convenient for the places we wanted to visit by car, however there are very few places to eat within walking distance. We walked to Casa do Lago for a meal which was very nice and there was also a sushi, Chinese and another restaurant in the same vicinity but we didn’t use these. The hotel has an A La Carte menu, however this was never in operation during our week long stay as they had a buffet dinner every evening, which is much more expensive if you don’t want a large meal, although it was very nice and had lots of selection with a nice Portuguese style to the food. There are bar snacks available and these were very good, particularly the shrimp salad! The room was nice and comfortable, our safe did not work and despite reporting this 3 times it was never sorted during our stay, although all staff were very friendly and polite. The swimming facilities were a bit of a let down. The indoor swimming pool was cold, so we only used it briefly once and had been looking forward to relaxing in the bubble jets. The Turkish bath, sauna and changing areas were a bit basic. Breakfast had plenty of choice with fruits, yoghurts, cereals, hot buffet, continental selection of cold meats, cheeses, bread and pastries. There is an Aldi and a Lidl’s nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, perfect for our family with kids. The pool was a great spot to relax, and the food was delicious. However, the real highlight was the reception team. They went above and beyond to assist us with a few challenging issues, resolving everything with ease. Their friendly and professional service made all the difference. Highly recommend!
