Perfect city hotel
Pros:

The minute we enter this hotel we feel so relaxed. The team are always so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The location is terrific with lots of local history - especially for Beatles' fans. There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance too and the Philharmonic Dining Rooms pub down the road is definitely worth a visit just to see the decor alone. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in this amazing city.

Perfect location for an event at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall
Pros:

Booked Hope Street Hotel due to its proximity to the Liverpool Philharmonic hall, and what a lovely treat it was. The place is a bit of a maze and we were given room 311, which was right at the end of a corridor, what we lost in distance to the lifts, we gained in a peaceful room at the back of the hotel, away from street noise and overlooking a lovely residential road.

Our room had windows on 3 sides so was flooded with natural light, I also appreciated the wood flooring as carpeted hotel rooms give me the ick. The bed was also spot on, massive and not too soft.

The frosted glass paneled door immediately opposite the toilet was an odd design choice, but the only detraction in an otherwise excellent room.

Breakfast was also a real treat, plenty of fresh cooked hot food and eggs cooked to order. There was also homemade crumpets on our first morning, which were quite possibly the nicest crumpet I have ever eaten, alas they did not make a reappearance on our second morning, but still plenty of delicious food on offer.

Parking is available at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, which is about a 5 minute walk (unfortunately, its uphill on the way there) and not too expensive for a 2 night stay.
