Couldn't recommend the Hope Street Hotel more! - the staff and the food is excellent, along with the hotels location made for a perfect place to stay in Liverpool - We cant wait to book another visit!
Myself, my mum and my niece stayed her again for a mid week treat. We stayed for one night with spa thermal journey and two treatments each for the morning after. Wow this hotel is fantastic on every level. The staff on reception checking in/out and storing our luggage whist we indulged in the spa so friendly and professional at same time. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and pot of tea after check in, at hotel bar. Then enjoyed another lovely relaxed meal in 1931, again staff were great as well as the food . Room with a view too overlooking our magnificent city. Breakfast was by far best we have all had such good produce and well cooked, staff were great to chat to whist they served us drinks and food. Finally the spa! Never been here before….. 10/10 honestly if nobody has tried this relaxing journey and chilled spa you must try. No pictures of spa for obvious reasons but yes this is in my opinion the best hotel I have ever stayed.
Very comfortable stay, able to leave my case easily when I arrived early. Online check in was good and saved time at the hotel. Quick to check out.

This was a spa break gift for my husband and I from our children which will turn into a regular venue after this visit.
As we were flying out of Liverpool John Lennon Airport the following day the location of Hope Street was perfect.
Parking in the Anglican Cathedral car park just 5 mins walk away was hassle free and allowed a walk through the Georgian Quarter to boot. The airport is 20-25 mins drive away, ideal.
The staff were all extremely helpful and the atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxed.
The spa was extremely clean and full of all the amenities you would expect, however the outdoor pool is a hidden gem. For anyone interested in Georgian architecture it offers a glimpse into what’s behind the facades of these wonderful buildings.
We ate in the bar which offers a good range of tapas style options as well as full meals. It was no problem for the staff for us to eat in the restaurant but order off the bar menu, an added bonus as we weren’t hugely hungry.
The bed was a little in the hard side for me but my husband was happy so no complaints there.
We look forward to returning soon.
We gave been staying at this fabulous hotel since it first opened in 2004. The staff were as always wonderful. The food and drinks amazing. This hotel holds such wonderful memories for us and never fails to deliver. Looking forward to our next stay .
An exceptionally clean hotel with lovely, helpful staff. It was very quiet, so we had a great night’s sleep in really comfortable beds. The location is amazing and the view over the city is breathtaking. The private rooftop spa was fantastic, the treatments were excellent and the outdoor pool is absolutely gorgeous. Overall, an amazing stay.
I stay here every month, and review each stay. There is never anything with which I can find fault. For me, it's perfect. It's my home from home, but better!
I have been visiting this hotel since I was a little girl with my family and now I visit with my friends as I no longer live locally. I absolutely love coming back. It holds such special memories and everything is just as good now as it was back then. The staff, the room, the food, I honestly can’t fault with any of it. Thankyou
Our third visit to this hotel. Great location for our visit to see family for a weekend in Liverpool. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent meal in the Restaurant on Friday night. We will be returning in a couple of months.

We came back to Hope Street Hotel for Christmas after visiting for the first time the previous year, and it was just as lovely and festive! The hotel has such a cosy, festive feel without being over the top, and the staff make you feel really welcome. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a winter city break. A really sweet touch was the little Christmas gift bag left outside our door on Christmas morning, it made the day feel extra special.
Christmas lunch at The London Carriage Works was another highlight. The food was beautifully cooked and just delicious. Service was friendly and relaxed, making it the perfect festive treat.
Overall, another brilliant Christmas stay. We’ve already booked for next year and highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.
