Cons:

Room on noisy side street, arguing/shouting in early hours.

Nice but overly expensive due to the social media hype!
Pros:

The staff were lovely, the bed really confortable

Cons:

Very expensive for what it is, the spa very average without the outdoor bit which was not available when we went due to urgent maintenance.
At £500 for a hotel with no parking, no breakfast, no view and the spa not fully operational it was not great value.

100% recommend this stay
Pros:

Gorgeous hotel. Our first room was so hot, the air conditioning wasnt working. We called reception and they brought a new key for a different room within a few minutes. Second room was amazing. So spacious air conditioning was working and there was a balcony. We would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast the next day was so nice, all made fresh and all staff were lovely.

Cons:

Everything was great.

Adequate, wouldn’t stay again.
Pros:

Good location, a short walk to Albert Dock, clean and comfortable.

Cons:

We assumed, our fault, that the spa would be available to use for hotel guests. It’s only available for a reduced fee of £50 odd pounds per person which our friends thought was extortionate as they only wanted to use it for 90 minutes. We booked knowing our room had air conditioning, it didn’t work the first evening so we reported it to reception the next day around 10.00 am, we returned to our room at 10.00 pm and it hadn’t been fixed. They’d left a fan with a lead far too short to be placed anywhere near the bed so another hot, sleepless night.
Breakfast was also disappointing, the food is being kept warm and is then dished up to you on a cold plate which means by the time you get back to your seat it’s cold, I expect better for a price of nearly £20 per head.

Hot night!!
Pros:

Stayed at this great hotel quite a few times, and never had one of the rooms accessed through the bar/restaurant to the lift upto floor 2.Got out of lift and it was like a building site.Builders said we were on wrong floor, but then spotted where our room was and put us right.
Never stayed in a more hot room,no matter what I did with the dial, heating wouldn't go down. Only there one night so we didn't make a fuss. Not put us off in coming back, in general it's a great hotel.

Another Fabulous Stay
Pros:

We had yet another wonderful stay at the beautiful Hope Street Hotel.
What more is there to say other than it is just the most fabulous hotel with the most fabulous staff.
The rooms are spacious, elegant with the most huge and luxurious beds.
We ate in the Carriageworks restaurant and the fine dining food choice and quality was second to none as was the wonderful wine selection!
What really makes this hotel so special is every member of staff who are so friendly and professional, and will simply take the most utmost care of you from the moment you arrive to your departure.
Huge thanks to Martina, Cameron, Holly, Gabby and Harry ..there are just too many to mention.
It is simply a stunning and classy boutique hotel, and also boasts an award winning spa which has to be seen to be believed.
And to boot you will also have the most luxurious and delicious breakfast in Liverpool!
Thank you to ALL the staff it was another fabulous stay...we will soon return!

Disappointing given the price.
Pros:

We previously stayed at this hotel in an authentic Georgian room. Given our great stay we rebooked again. Sadly given a room that did not represent picture on booking .com website. It was more like a converted office. So noisy we had to change rooms.
New room same office vibe , cold and toilet didn’t flush. It had the feel of a glorified premier inn. Which we didn’t appreciate given the price tag charged
Having said all this , the staff are amazing.

Cons:

I wouldn’t stay again.

PERFECTION
Pros:

Having worked in hospitality as a GM for many years, I can be extremely picky when it comes to staying in hotels, my standards are high and I really do enjoy, and expect a fabulous hospitality experience....

So huge thanks and respect to HOPE STREET HOTEL and all who sail in her, you absolutely exceeded any hospitality experience I've ever had!

We booked a corner suite and wow, it was simply outstanding with far reaching views across the city, and the light from the huge windows filled the room, even on a drizzly day...The decor is simple, classy and doesn't try to be anything other than luxurious, with a huge bath and beautifully smelling toiletries, a bed that guarantees a good nights sleep, a fabulous coffee machine with an array of drink choices, and high, high standards throughout, it really was the perfect room to enjoy a staycation in Liverpool...

The staff, clearly chosen with care, and trained to perfection made sure nothing was too much trouble, they were genuinely interested, immaculately turned out, and clearly enjoyed working in the hotel (How could they not)

With special mention to Connor the breakfast chef who was chatty, cheerful and helpful with food choices, and the breakfast restaurant manager in 1931 who was extremely attentive to all guests, taking the time to ensure they had a great start to the day!

And not forgetting housekeeping, we met a few ladies during our stay, and again, they were immaculate and polite, their personal standards shone through not only in the rooms, but public areas too, they are a team to be proud of, so a huge thank you to them too!

We also ate an evening meal in 1931, and again, enjoyed fantastic service and great food, well cooked and tasty, with an extensive drinks list with recommendations from our waitress, good job Hope Street, there is nothing worse than asking for a recommendation to be met with a blank face! Your staff training shines out!

We can’t wait to return, it’s our ‘go to’ place from now on, we can’t think of anywhere else we’d rather stay, and are already planning our return trip!

Thank you to EVERYONE for your hospitality and care, what a fantastic product you have there…

HOPE STREET HOTEL ~ BE PROUD!
