Great trip
Pros:

We stayed here at the end of Jan and honestly i cant fault this hotel. It was really clean and the rooms were great beds very comfortable. We arrived at 11am on the day of our check in and the check in staff were so very nice and out room was even ready which was a nice surprise. We loved the bar at night after a long day at the park and the bar man always remembered our order from the previous day. The kids indoor play part was great our 7 year old daughter loved it and made some friends which was great after a really busy day. We had breakfast every morning and it was never to busy and the food was always really good. We used the bus service everyday and cant complain at all. Overall we loved our stay and will most definitely be back.

Ideal for a bed, carpets are crawling.
Pros:

We stayed here as a family of 7 in December, the hotel isn't anything otherworldly, it has a welcoming reception, a extremely basic kids play area, like basic! We can't comment on garden and pools as it was December. The rooms we were given 2 separate rooms, the carpets in these rooms haven't been cleaned or given a hoover ever. The room looked nice if you don't look down, the carpet made me feel sick. Breakfast was OK for toast and coffee but I got a undercooked sausage so never went back. The bus collected you outside for the park which was the whole point of our trip. Disney is great, dream castles carpets are not.. other than that you make it work.

Family visit
Pros:

I feel like the hotel is more of a 3 1/2 star, lovely entrance, lobby and bar are kept very clean, the breakfast was nice it wasn’t to hectic as some people same in previous reviews, great range of food on offer,

Never ate meals apart from the breakfast,
We ordered uber eats or ate at the Disney village.

The bar staff will fill your water bottles up for the park which is helpful,

We stayed in a family bunk bed room,
Room had nice decor, small fridge as well. However the bathroom decor is a bit dated but clean, we also noticed there were a few stains on the carpet but I expect it with the amount of families the hotel cater for, there was a bit of mould on the seals of the window as well

Overall it is probably the best off site Disney hotel,

Amazing
Pros:

This is my second time staying at Hotel Dream Castle and I can't fault it at all. The staff are very lovely and helpful, location is great only 30 mins from the airport.

The daily shuttle bus is great for getting to and from the park. This comes every 15 mins to the hotel and is about a 5/10 minute drive.

Breakfast choice is great.

Beds are comfy and spacious.

Would stay here over and over again for any Disney trip!

Avoid – shocking service and serious safeguarding failure
Pros:

Our stay at the Dream Castle Hotel was supposed to be a special family break. Instead, it turned into a stressful and disappointing experience due to poor organisation, unhelpful staff, and serious failures in basic guest care.
When we arrived, the front desk told us they could not find our booking under the lead name on the reservation, despite us having full confirmation details. The check-in assistant was rude and dismissive, repeatedly stating that the issue was not the hotel’s responsibility. We were told the hotel was fully booked, no rooms were available, and that a manager would not be available until later in the afternoon.
At one point, the receptionist claimed there was a booking under the name “Matthew Smith”. One of our party has that name, so we were led to believe at least one room existed. This later turned out to be incorrect and showed a lack of basic checking and attention to detail.
After spending hours trying to sort things out, we returned to the hotel late in the evening, exhausted and stressed. We were then issued with room keys and sent to a room where another family was already asleep inside.
This is a serious safeguarding failure. Giving guests keys to an occupied room is completely unacceptable, especially when families with children are involved.
It later became clear the hotel had confused our booking with another guest who happened to have the same name as one of our party members. Staff then repeatedly disturbed the other family while trying to fix their mistake. We were also later told that a spare room had actually been available, despite being told earlier that the hotel was fully booked.
Communication throughout our stay was poor and inconsistent. Important information was only disclosed after the damage had already been done, which led to unnecessary stress and financial loss.
The overall standard of the hotel did not improve. We were seated twice in a dirty overflow breakfast area with cold food. The swimming pool water was cold and visibly dirty. We were even refused bottled water before 10am despite staff being present at the bar.
This was meant to be a memorable family trip. Instead, it became a stressful nightmare caused by disorganisation, lack of accountability, and very poor customer service.
Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before booking this hotel.

AVOID HOTEL AT ALL COST!!!
Pros:

the worst hotel, I would avoid at all cost
the staff play a huge part in this massively especially on the front desk - no warm welcome, the staff was dismissive and rude. and so unhelpful.
the food is horrendous - i’ve attached photos to see for yourself god forbid anyone has allergies as the food was everywhere during the breakfast buffet
the cleaner just walked into the room whilst 5 year old son was getting changed, no knock no pre warning.

I would never stay in this hotel again.

Great base for Disney
Pros:

We stayed here for a base to go to Disneyland for three days.
The hotel was lovely with great amenities and good breakfast.
The shuttle is handy to Disney. We mostly got bolts on the way back which cost 12 euro. Did the shuttle one evening back to the hotel and it wasn't a nice experience. Pushing and shoving.

Don’t have high expectations
Pros:

Overall, the hotel is **average at best**. At first glance it appears nice, spacious, and fun for kids. There is a free shuttle to Disneyland, which picks you up right outside the hotel and drops you directly at the park entrance—this was definitely a positive. However, the rooms were disappointing. Although spacious, the carpets were worn and clearly need replacing. The toilet seat was chipped, the toilet water ran nonstop, the air conditioning did not work, and the TV was unusable, showing only “not programmed.” For a **4-star hotel**, this was unacceptable. The fridge was completely empty no complimentary water or amenities of any kind.

The biggest disappointment was the ‘Enchanted Birthday’ package (€40) we purchased for my daughter’s birthday. It promised a present, birthday cake, decorated table with balloons, sparkling apple juice, and candies. What we actually received was three balloons on a table, an unwrapped colouring book as the “gift,” a small bag of sweets, cake, and juice. It was extremely underwhelming and upsetting, especially for a child’s birthday. When I spoke to the receptionist, he was genuinely apologetic and appeared shocked by how poor the package was. He provided me with his manager’s email to submit a formal complaint.

To make matters worse, both the evening buffet and breakfast were very poor, lacking quality and variety. Overall, this hotel does not meet 4-star standards, and based on our experience, I would not recommend it.

Horrible
Pros:

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are the most unfriendly, unhelpful and laziest people I’ve met in all my travels. Reception cannot give you a simple piece of information (such as the nearest hospital) my room smelt of wet dog. The bedroom furniture and fixtures are run down, we had a broken window that when we reported it, instead of saying someone will be up shortly to check, we were questioned on our ability to open or close a window (fyi it’s a window not flying a plane), my bathroom floor tiles were loose and I didn’t bother to report it! There is a metal decor in the corridor that was lying there for a few days before someone taped it (yet using masking tape) to the wall. The bin in our room despite being full was not removed! They advertise an American breakfast on their website yet it is a self service coffee machine & pastries! The eggs station is boiled eggs only and a small variety of cereal and yoghurt. The kettle in my bedroom had to be supervised as it did not stop boiling on its own. We asked for an iron and it never came! I was super disappointed and would NOT recommend staying here to anyone!

Lovely magical clean hotel
Pros:

We stayed in Hotel Dream Castle for our Disney trip as a family of 4, 2 adults, an 8 year old and 4 year old for 4 nights from 5th to 9th January.
I have read mixed reviews on this hotel and so was a bit worried at first. On arrival the hotel is beatiful, lovely lobby area. Our room was ready straight away. We booked a room with a double bed and twin beds. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable and nice soft bed linen.
The first night we decided to eat in their buffet La Rotisserie as we didnt have disney passes until the next morning. The buffet although not cheap was outstanding. A fantastic selection of freshly cooked meats, salads, starters, cheeses, desserts and many other dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
We had snow for 2 days of our stay and the hotel outside areas and gardens looked magical. Unfortunately the disney shuttle was not running due to the snow so we decided to wrap up warm and walk to disney, was cold but a beautiful snowy wonderland, took us about 40 minutes to walk there.
The breakfast was also good, had a selection of everything you would need for breakfast.
We used the indoor pool as the kids wanted desperately to go and it was lovely, clean and has a slide which they loved.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
For the price we payed this hotel was fantastic. If you are looking for mega luxury then book the Disneyland hotel and pay the price. This hotel was perfect for out stay and ticked all the boxes. We will surely return next time we visit Disney. Thank you Dream Castle for making our Disney holiday magical.

Short stay ok but awful shuttle at night
Pros:

Check in was quite easy with opportunity to store luggage. Room was large and queen bed reasonably comfortable. This is a high volume hotel geared to families and lots of young kids, so is what it is. The breakfast was pretty chaotic, had to wait for cutlery, milk. We searched high and low for a tv remote which was not in the room and which we reported as missing. For one night though OK. The low light though was shuttle bus used by the hotel and several others- an absolutely shocking experience at about 9pm even before final park close. I saw another review describe it as the Hunger Games and that was pretty apt. Frightening experience for young children and several fights neatly happened and people were packed in like sardines. Other hotels seemed to have buses that came more readily. The bus for our hotel was parked several hundred metres away and the driver waited there for over 5-10 minutes (we waited 20-25 minutes) leaving the crowd of people continuing to build up. The hotel and others that use this service simply need to order more buses at peak periods, it’s a safety issue. I’d encourage others to investigate a taxi/uber from the park (uber was very expensive though) or other hotels a stop or 2 away on the RER line.

Honest review from a travel agent
Pros:

Don’t believe the negative reviews. Reception staff - super welcoming. Hotel - gorgeous. Rooms - lovely. Spacious and clean. Huge queen-size bed. Breakfast - they’re cater to the masses and try to please all nationalities. You aren’t going to get a traditional English breakfast in a French tourist hotel. Shuttle bus - yes can be very busy. But I don’t see how that is the hotels fault? They collect from all of the hotels and the business is a reflection of the time of day. Pool - gorgeous. Play area for the kids - big, indoors, safe and they all loved it. In fact many kids preferred it to the parks.
I send all of my clients and my own family here. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Thank you Dream Castle.

Great hotel & a great night sleep
Pros:

We stayed as a family of 7 at the Dream Castle in December 2025. We arrived around 2pm and were quickly checked in by a lovely colleague at the Front Desk who explained breakfast times, shuttle times and were given the keys to our rooms.

Our rooms were a little tired but they were nice, spacious & clean. The beds were really comfortable and the black out curtains were perfect, just what’s needed to ensure you get a great, well needed night sleep after 20,000+ steps around the parks all day.

Whilst you don’t go away to watch TV, the great selection of English TV channels were a real welcome bonus for background noise before heading to bed.

As expected, breakfast was chaotic with long lines to be seated. There were also a large number of kids running around the buffet picking up and touching pretty much everything on display whilst the parents just sat back and watched.

The only downside to this hotel is the shuttle service- it’s horrendous. Miserable drivers, severely overcrowded buses and people that just have no manners or common courtesy for fellow passengers. We only used the shuttle twice and opted to use Uber which was around €15-20 to/from the parks.

Would we stay again, absolutely but we’d be steering clear of the shuttle buses.

Dissatisfied
Pros:

On our last night at the Dreamcastle hotel and honestly will be glad to get on our flight back home tomorrow morning.

This was our first time here for Disneyland with our 2 year old son. When we arrived on NYE afternoon at check in we were told that if we wanted to book the restaurant for dinner we could as spaces were limited.

We were told that the adult price was €99 per adult and €39 for our 2 year old son. The menu price and options was the same for next day which we found to be extremely expensive.

I would not rate the hotel to be a 4 star, the rooms and toilet were very average compared to other 4 star hotels that we stayed in. Carpets stained badly in the bedroom and bed sheets on the top bunk full of dust.

Apart from the restaurant there is not much other options for food, the vending machines weren’t stocked and the shop in the entrance foyer was not open once during our stay.

Breakfast is what you would expect for a 2 star all inclusive in Santa Ponso.

The Wi-Fi was non existent in our room and we were on the ground floor very close to reception.

Our sons cot arrived covered in chocolate from whoever had used it previously without being cleaned.

Good for kids, we encountered rowdy groups which meant noisy nights, but this was just bad luck.
Pros:

THE GOOD
Location is great for Disneyland and price was ok.
Bed was comfy (found soft pillows in wardrobe). Great for kids.
Awesome idea to have indoor kids play area and pool. Room with bunk bed was a massive hit with the young kids. We splashed out for a two bed suite and it was massive.

THE BAD
Groups of rowdy people taking over the restaurant and reception. Apparently that mainly happens at Christmas and St Patricks day. Men drinking heavily, women separate from the men but ignoring their kids, vaping inside and getting drunk while their kids were running around bare chested or in nappies, pulling Christmas lights off the ceiling and having bare knuckle fights. Kids touching all the food at the buffet.
Party continued in room opposite us and the noise carried straight through our door, so not the best sleep.
Crazy days!
Staff didn't intervene.

Meat in the buffet was hit and miss - quite pricy for what it was, but you can order a Deliveroo if you don’t fancy the buffet or the bar food.
Breakfast coffee dire.
Swimming pool was like Butlins on crack.
Kids loved it obviously.

Cannot understand why adults would stay without kids though. One guys was filming all the food in the buffet...and kids too. Bit creepy TBH.

Excellent Stay - Highly Recommended
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Dream Castle Hotel. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially for getting around and exploring nearby attractions. The food was outstanding, with plenty of tasty options and great quality. Our room was comfortable, clean, and a perfect place to relax after a long day. Overall, a fantastic experience and a hotel I’d happily recommend.

Fab hotel…. Shuttle from hell
Pros:

Fantastic stay at the dream castle hotel! I’m not sure what some of the negative reviews are about really, not one member of staff has been rude and there were plenty of options at breakfast too. We arrived at 11 and our room was ready for us despite check in from 3pm and it wasn’t a room that no one wanted as I saw on previous review, it was lovely. My only advice is re the shuttle to Disney, I’d recommend using Ubers which cost between 11 to 15 euros. The shuttle bus is practically the hunger games and isn’t big enough for all of the hotels it serves.

A great way to do Disney!
Pros:

Firstly reading the reviews on here recently nearly made me want to rearrange my hotel, but I always like to give the benefit of the doubt.
First impression, huge hotel lovely atmosphere lots of seating in reception area. Staff were polite and helpful took pity on my school girl French attempts. We had to leave our luggage and go and enjoy a bit of Disney magic until check in time no problems .
We came back about 2.30pm feeling our early start, our room was ready it was huge with comfy beds and pillows and a great view.
We went for dinner in the evening , we had the buffet for €38 there was plenty of choice, and the dessert table was impressive.
Back in the room it was slightly too warm for me and there was no way other than opening the window to control the temperature but it’s not the end of the world!
I read so many horror stories about breakfast i wasn’t sure what to expect but food was plentiful as were coffee machines it was clean staff were incredibly slick at cleaning and to be honest it was like many all inclusive hotel breakfasts I have been to over the years. I had absolutely no complaints.
The other comments have been about the buses, there are 5 hotels in the chain and the buses pick up from each Dream
Castle is right in the middle so the bus is rarely quiet on the way too or back but It’s a hotel 10 minutes from Disney park with a free shuttle if you want more pay for a Disney hotel, IMO you get what you pay for and I have been on many overcrowded Disney park buses too! The pool and jacuzzi were lovely there is a real castle theme throughout the hotel and gardens and it makes it really special. If you’re coming to see Disney to do the rides and you don’t want to break the bank this is a great alternative to the lower end Disney hotels. We had a great stay and would definitely return. P.s the plentiful seating is a bonus when you are waiting for your taxi back to the airport! Merci Dream castle Hotel.

Convenitent hotel for Disneyland Paris and the Outlet
Pros:

Nice hotel and huge. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
My only comments to improve:
WiFi connection is not very good. You connect and it disconnects alone after 1-2 minutes of usage (i guess due to the high number of users).
Breakfast variety was good but very high in traffic. You need to wait until the staff ticks your name on the guest list.
For dining the choices were numerous and good.
Hotel view was so nice overlooking the swimming pool and greenery.
The shuttle to disneyland was very convenient that every 10 mins there is a bus going to Disneyland.
