Pros:

Saubere Zimmer und nettes Team am Empfang und im Restaurant.

Entsprach bis auf Kleinigkeiten meinen Erwartungen
Pros:

Freundlicher Empfang, ausreichend PKW Stellplätze. Die Lage des Hotels war für mein Vorhaben perfekt. Ich bin schon mehrmals hier Gast gewesen und werde es sicherlich auch zukünftig sein.

Cons:

Zimmer roch bei Übernahme sehr anstrengend und musste gelüftet werden. Auf die Verbrühung beim Duschen hätte ich gerne verzichtet. Ich dusche gerne warm, aber das war zeitweise sehr schmerzhaft. Ich hatte beim Check-In darum gebeten, Frühstück mit aufzunehmen und wurde am nächsten Morgen von Angestellten im Frühstücksraum sehr nachdrücklich darauf hingewiesen, dass ich kein Frühstück gebucht hätte; hier musste ich mehrfach betonen, dies bitte noch einmal zu prüfen.

Pros:

The location was very good. Walking distance from the centre but quiet at the same time.

Miserable experience
Pros:

My stay was not good. There was no air conditioning in my room at all. I informed the guy at the front desk who basically brushed me off and told me – without even getting up from his chair – that I was supposed to slowly decrease the temperature from 24° to 23°, wait several minutes, then decrease to 22°, wait again, etc. until I reach 18°. As ridiculous as that sounded, I gave it a try, and of course it did not work. So I went back to the front desk after an hour. The guy had been replaced by a woman who was much more sympathetic. She came up to my room and saw for herself that it was almost 30°. She fiddled with the control, could not get it work, so offered to look for a different room for me. She came back a few minutes later and said she checked at least four other rooms and none of them had air conditioning. Her only advice was that I sleep with the window open, which I did. But on the second night, a group of kids in the park across from the hotel were shouting and laughing till well past 3:00 AM. Between that and the temperature, it was impossible to sleep.

I see now some comments from other guests about a lack of air conditioning so this seems to have been a longstanding problem.

Apart from the air conditioning, the safe in my room also did not work. I told the staff but they were unable to fix this either. And then one of the elevators in the hotel was broken one evening. So on the whole, the hotel looks nice on the outside but seems to be falling apart inside.

Gute Lage, in der Nähe der Innenstadt. Modern eingerichtet.

Cons:

Zimmer recht klein für 3 Personen, Frühstück war okay. Betten sehr hart, aber das ist halt Geschmacksache. Bei uns ging die Klimaanlage nicht, bei 30 Grad draußen etwas unangenehm, aber Fenster gingen immerhin zu öffnen.
