The room was really big and the hotel was easy to get to from Moorfields station, nice clean comfortable hotel and plenty of shops cafes nearby. Easy walking distance to the cruise ship.
Staff were a bit slow to respond at the reception desk
Great value for money. The place was spacious and comfortable, and everything was as expected. The location is a little out of the way, but the pier and city centre are both within walking distance.
Room was pleasant and clean. Usual facilities, tea, coffee etc
Buffet breakfast was poor. Lukewarm and poor selection of cooked items. Quality leaves a lot to be desired

Shortage of bar areas.
Bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've been in . The room in general was great as was the shower facilities. The breakfast options were decent . Members of staff were lovely slso .
Although repaired by maintenance, the sink in the rubber at end of the shower door was lose thus water went on bathroom floor.

Food and cleanliness
The location was good.
The restaurant seating was ripped and outdated and they didn't have items from the limited menu when requested. Someone was playing the piano at 7am on a repeated pattern - sounded like an alarm to start with but when I opened the door it was the piano.

The hotel was lovely with a amazing room and view and exceptionally clean.
Total confusion from the beginning. I’d brought the stay forward by a day back in March reception couldn’t find my booking. Did eventually then getting a email saying about my stay the week after. To add insult to injury I’d pay the week before for the room. The day we checked out I was charged for the room again. I’m now £82 out of pocket. Told I would get a refund but reception have got the wrong bank details I did help him this. He told me I’d used a credit card when I haven’t got one. Other guests were having money issues on their bank accounts. I’m really angry. All he had to do was cancel the payment and refund me at the counter said he couldn’t. I’m going to have to go back next week as I know my refund won’t go in with wrong bank details.

Internet is really frustrating and slow
We used the hotel as a base, we didn’t really use any of the facilities.
We found it conveniently situated a short 10 minute walk to the centre. Quiet location. Staff on check-in were pleasant. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was a little dated but clean.
The shower but that a personal preference as I’d prefer walk in facilities, not a criticism of the property as other people may prefer a bath.
